Roman to go into beserker mode and meet Falcao's release clause on January 31st setting off a mad last-minute transfer dash.

You heard it here first :P

Greediness will fail them all.

BREAKING NEWS: Demba Ba's rumored move to Chelsea has been called off as John Terry could not agree to personal terms with Ba's wife. #cfc

Never gets old.

He will have no choice but to lower his and his mens demands if he wants a move so i still expect the deal to go through but it will take a matter of weeks rather than days now i assume.

I do hate Harry but fair play for this and how correct he was

To be fair, Taison's an attacking midfielder in the same way Michu is an 'attacking midfielder'. He's a striker/midfielder hybrid. Bit like Gudjohnsen too I guess.

The same can be argued for Mata, Moses and Piazon though. Plus we've literally just sold a winger/striker, suggesting that we're looking an out and out goalscorer in this window.

Don't understand why Chelsea have not gone for Fernando Llorente yet, not only is he great in the air but also really good with the ball at his feet. In my opinion better option than Ba and Negredo.

I think it's because we're trying to change the style of the team. After it's taken all this time to get rid of our tendency to play route 1 football, I imagine Roman is reluctant to buy another big target man. Falcao is a bit of a special case, like Cavani, because he's a lot more of a rampaging no.9 than just a front man.

Taison is not the natural striker we need. He is another flashy dwarf in the attacking midfield.

Other rumour is that we are willing to let Marin go to Leverkusen to help our Schurrle case.

Now I'm just bored.

Llorente is brilliant with ball at his feet but still gives you another option if you wanted to play it up to him.

Llorente isnt Falcao, but he is certainly more subtle than just a big man.

They're still not quite as strikerish as Taison but I take your point.

Just... Negredo. For ****'s sake, Negredo.
