You say this but things like booing torres, chanting RDM's name on whichever minute, all the anti rafa placards and there has been chants you can hear them on TV. Maybe its not as bad as made out but what you have to consider into the argument is the actual media coverage chelsea are a worldwide club. You get one picture of an Rafa out placard it ends up in ten newspapers then the following day another 20 etc. Then lets say a game live on tv sky's microphone near home fans you can hear one anti rafa chant for even twenty seconds thats millions of people who have heard it. I get what you are saying about the misrepresentation of the chelsea fans but surely you can see from the wider picture how there is a negative atmosphere around the club?

Considering all the issues at the club, no its really not. The major issues are all ones that can only be solved by transfers. It would be the same for any manager, though if it was Di Matteo, i'd be calling him an idiot for putting himself in such a position by letting Essien go out on loan, although I would withdraw that if he didnt have control over the loan:
Lack of width
Lack of a deep passer
Lack of a linking forward
Lack of overall depth
This has a MAJOR impact, Chelsea have NO variation. If you stop them, you generally stop them dead. You have no real variation on the bench, so once you are stopped, you cant really change it. You have no depth, so to keep the side fresh the manager has to rotate even if its to the detriment of the club. God help Chelsea if you get a proper injury crisis.
Which is why I cannot fathom the lack of any signings.
It's probably a collection of both to be honest. Southampton pull one back so player get edgy because they want to take some heat of the manager but they concede another it's not unhear of in football and it's not like Chelsea are robust defensively so you can see why they may get anxious. But I'm not defending rafa tactically because yes he has got it wrong. I agree we don't have the correct players to play this way. But two things as i keep bringing up, we played better with it under Di Matteo that cannot even be argued and why play it if its not working under him? Try something different, you never know it might shock you and might actually work.

AVB was also worth a punt on. You fired him. Doing pretty well with spurs though.I disagree. AVB had a team full of superstars such as Falcao and Hulk and had the best resources out of anyone in the league whereas the situation was completely different for Pochettino when he was managing Espanoyol in La Liga.
Anyways I don't know whether Pochettino has done enough to warrant an opportunity to manage a top team like Chelsea but in my opinion, he is definitely someone worth a punt on.
