What's this i'm hearing that Rafa could be sacked if the Wigan result ends up in a loss? Aren't Chelsea enough of a laughing stock already for their managerial merry-go-round?

Difference is this decision will be backed by all CFC supporters unlike some of the rest.

chelsea best win today, first time since they mauled villa I've put them in my quad argh!

Rafa "we have to manage them both properly because Ba can't play Europa League in midweek". TORRES STARTS BA ON THE BENCH!!!!!!

Chelsea have won just one of their last 10 Premier League games without Juan Mata in the starting XI.

And today he's on the bench...

That said I can't see Wigan being too much of a problem

Oh i can definitely. If Mata is ill as what is being reported then he shouldn't even be on the bench

A question for you Chelsea fans. If Rafa was guaranteed to be sacked if you lost today, would you want to lose?

I really hope Lamps gets the record for him self. He doesn't always get the credit he deserves from other fans, he should be remembered as one of the greats. And It'd be a big 'up yours' to Roman.

5 away from becoming Chelsea highest ever goal scorer I believe but I could be wrong. Incredible to think he is a central midfielder.

To be fair Chelsea have never really had a Rush or a Charlton

Kerry Dixon (147 league goals in 335 games) and Bobby Tambling (164 league goals in 302 games) would say otherwise to be fair. For the record Bobby Charlton got 199 league goals in 606 games, and Ian Rush was 139 league goals in 224 games And these were strikers (though Bobby Charlton also played wide forward/wing). Lampard is doing it from MIDFIELD. It would be a brilliant achievement as a striker, but to do it from midfield is incredible.

Not really names that spring to mind though, are they.
