1) They would be without trophy
2) They would be without CL
3) Probably still at top of the table.
Persie has won you 26 points in PL.
So probably yes or probably not.

We didn't have RVP last year, and we had pretty much the same points like this year.Persie has won you 26 points in PL.

This has to be the stupidest stat that people use. You cannot quantify how many points an individual wins.
It's still something. I agree, but he was the main reason you won the title.
It's meaningless. It's useful for news sites to clock up some hits and fans to argue about others being a one man team.
Prove it? Yes, he makes our team better when he plays. Just like Mata makes you better, Messi to Barcelona etc. If you take away any teams top striker, they're going to do considerably worse (except Chelsea, ever the exception..). Does he score a high % of our goals? Of course he does, he's a striker, it's what he's there to do. It's like complaining that, shock horror, Carrick plays the most passes in our team. Every player is put in the team to perform a function, and you only win as a unit. It's insulting to the rest of the team to claim we wouldn't win without him.
Where would Chelsea be without Mata...
What a big 3 points. Just need that win against Spurs now!
Massive 3 points. A win against Spurs should seal a Top 4 spot for us I reckon
Just want to focus a little on the Europa League Final and something i heard a few years ago about our opponents Benfica. Back in 1961 they had a coach named Bela Guttmann who was a bit of a character. He previously got sacked from AC Milan despite being top of the league after a few arguments with the board and in his press conference he said "i have been sacked even though i am i am neither a criminal or homosexual". On arrival at Benfica he sacked 20 senior players, he's personality has been likened to the special one Jose Mourinho.
Back to 1961 and in this season he led Benfica to their first ever European cup beating Barcelona. A year later and he guided Benfica to back to back European Cups this time beating Real Madrid he had proved he was something special. After that second consecutive European Cup win in 1962 he went to the board and asked for a pay rise, something which the board rejected. Guttmann ended up leaving Benfica because of this reason. When he left the club he allegedly cursed the club by saying "not in a hundred years time from now will Benfica ever win a European Cup".
Since these words Benfica have reached European Finals in 1963, 1965, 1968, 1988 and 1990 losing all 5! Even before the final in 1990 which was staged in Vienna the resting place of Guttmann, Benfica president and legend Eusebio prayed at Guttmann's grave and asked for the curse to be lifted, this was unsuccessful!
Lets hope the curse stays in tact for another year!
A win against Spurs will do it almost definitely. Id take a draw right now though for sure.

What I would do:

[TH="colspan: 6"]Wednesday 8 May 2013 [/TH]

19:45
Chelsea v Tottenham

Win against Spurs (which means give 101% on the pitch and win the **** game; playing at the Bridge, fans making it hard for Spurs etc etc.)

[TH="colspan: 6"]Saturday 11 May 2013 [/TH]

12:45
Aston Villa v Chelsea

Rest a bunch of players, Mata, Hazard etc etc. Play for a draw, if possible.
Then comes 15th and we have fresh legs because between 8th and 15th we've wasted a little less energy. (I'm not underestimating Villa here, but come on, a draw won't be that hard to achieve)
He also said! And a portuguese club will NEVER be european champion twice.
Porto did, half of the curse is lifted, it's time for the other half...
Mourinho was just brilliant in the press conference today. No way he will be remaining at Madrid after what he has said XD
