Really? Because considering how small the pool of players who can play to Chelsea's standards are, I'd say rotation for fitness is ****** paramount. Oscar and Eden Hazard have both played over SIXTY games each this season. Torres, Mata and Ramires are racking up similar amounts of appearances. Contrast this to Manchester United - who, it must be noted, have a strict rotational policy under Ferguson - and their key players: Michael Carrick has played 34, Van Persie 36 and Rooney 26.
Frankly, it's a miracle your entire squad hasn't just broken down and ground to a halt under sheer weight of injuries. It's a testament to Rafa's rotational policy that you can even field an eleven of senior players, let alone actually improve towards the end of the season and start outplaying your rivals when it matters.
No idea. Perhaps? I wouldn't want to speculate past basic fact. Rafa's the one with all the sports scientists here, not me.
That's one accusation that can definitely be levelled against him, I'd agree.
Yeah, he totally didn't change at all when 3-0 down in the Champions League final at half time. Nope. NEVER EVER CHANGES, and fails (or in this particular case, succeeds spectacularly) all the time.
