Well doesn't look like we are getting Rooney, not that it was all that hopeful anyways. Love how putting in those 2 bids escalated the situation at Manchester so much and basically dominated their Pre-season. Well played Jose. Well played

What you getting this off from curiosity? Keeping Rooney at United is what the club has always wanted, so what has Jose actually done?

Before you start to celebrate the great success of Jose's mind games , I'd meditate for a while about how the chase for Rooney has impacted the mental state of Fernando Dontscores.

Rattled a few feathers with Moyes. I doubt Moyes wanted to be asked about Rooney at every press conference during his pre-season.

Rofl, no. Please stop over hyping Jose so much on this scenario. This was a) happening with or without Jose b) hasn't unsettled/dominated pre-season and c) Jose quite blatantly wanted him, and failed to get him. Not well played at all.

This was going to happen, whoever was in charge. This has been on the cards for about 4 months.

I reckon Australia could do with someone who could put that level of spin on things. Get yourself down to the Oval and they might give you a couple of practice sessions in the nets.

I doubt it's affected it much although it certainly gives his fans a new excuse to sing when he bangs in 9 EPL goals this season

If anyone only one club was frustrated when the initial bid was leaked with some info like player exchange and had to release official statement and that's not ManUtd ;)

Brilliant move by Lambert to get Benteke to sign a contract, I've heard Jose hasn't been able to sleep since.

You can doubt but you'd be wrong. **** like this is always double-edged sword - maybe Mourinho managed to unsettle Wayne a little, but you can bet Torrers, Ba and Lukaku weren't thrilled about the whole saga either.

Difference being, United have RVP, Chicharito, Kagawa and Welbeck , who are more then capable for taking over Wayne as either AMC or striker. In the meantime you are stuck with three mediocre strikers who are now ****** off.

So if we're keeping a score...yeah.
