Btw, my intention is not to criticize Jose or anyone, I'm just pointing it out what Jose said in the past/present and linked with his team. For odd season you are getting worked up for a simple post.

Only reason I am getting worked up is because it achieves nothing and is completely and utterly irrelevant. Every manager is guilty of doing the same. Seems to me like you are just attacking or saying something negative on this thread for the sake of doing so

Managers do what they have to do to win points, which will inevitably lead to hypocrisy somewhere. We had Fergie as a manager, the master of this. Fergie says he has never played for a draw in his life, but you'll never catch me posting for pages if someone called his tactics vs City defensive when they won the title. Jose is just manipulating the media, you're defending him against what he purposely put out there.

Oh and Joel, this has very little to do with media manipulation. Jose actually acknowledges that he would have played the same way. He praises WH for the point earned. He says that his team couldn't have done more as WH played well. He criticizes them for their dirty tactics. Its probably one of the more frank and forthright interviews based on actual game events. Media manipulation is when he attacks Suarez for diving in order to divert attention from all the other referee decisions that went his way

If the photo was meant initially as a joke, that's totally fine with me ... It seemed to me as if Sunil posted that intending to criticize, realised his argument had no substance before slowly retreating and finally diving into his 'its a joke' shell. I would know since I did it myself recently

To whoever said He deployed same tactics against Arsenal and Man Utd, Chelsea played Counter-Attacking football against Arsenal. We had more scoring chances, they barely had a shot on target.

That is playing football, ah and you forgot the weather. Lampard hit underside of the bar, Willian fudged two counters 4v3 and 3v2. United game was early in the season and team wasn't gelled with Mourinho's tactics. Also he made the mistake of respecting the "champions".

Mourinho has played defensive tactics a lot, even with Real Madrid he played Counter-Attacking football. He's mostly played with minnows at the starting of his career, that's how a coach is formed with a mentality. He won UCL with frigging Porto and Inter.

I for one am okay with yesterday's game, we won UCL final with same tactic. Props to West Ham for defending bravely, Big Sam's a c*nt.

Btw why are Man Utd fans still around here digging Jose? knowing fully well he's a club icon, or are they still bitter over him? :wink wink: . Good luck with Moyes at the helm.
