Oh and can I just say how much I love Eto'o. Their is a reason why he was one of the finest strikers in the world for so long. Guys an absolute predator and will get goals any way he can. Doubt any of the other 20 players on the pitch knew what was going on with Adrian but not Eto'o ... Hope he stays for another season

I have warmed to him massively mate, he is always alert remember the goal against Schalke? And i love how he loves goals, covers more ground in his celebration than he does for the rest of the game combined.

Can't think of another midfielder we've had in the past that is worse than Ramires technique wise. Thank **** he has some valuable attiributes.

Must say i agree mate, he is so frustrating to watch. I think he is only effective when we are on the counter and he has space to run into. Today West Ham had 10 behind the ball so he has no grass to run in to.

Just got back from the game now and to say i'm a little deflated would be an understatement! First of all i was very surprised to see Mikel's name on the team sheet so i think Jose got that wrong personally. Ramires did have a shocker in my opinion but not the worst man on the pitch not even close. Not the reason we didn't get a win but Neil Swarbrick was absolutely woeful! He lost control of the game so early on, i understand officials have a tough job but he today was incompetent.

38 shots and most of them blocked! On another day we win that game 3-4 nil without a doubt. Yes its frustrating we never took a chance but looking on the bright side at least we are creating chances, the problems arise when your not creating the chances.

I'm not going to slate West Ham for their approach because i don't subscribe to the media's opinion that the "Barca" way is the only way to play football. One of the reasons this sport is so exciting is because of the different styles and West Ham are rightfully playing to their strengths. My issue with it is when opponent fans/our own fans label our football as "boring". Absolute bullshit! What we saw from West Ham was boring not what we see from us so no complaining please!

Had some fans behind me who did not stop moaning for the full 90 minutes about everything they could but i overheard them saying "if we can't beat this lot then we will get smashed by City on Monday" and i couldn't disagree more. West Ham sat back 10 men behind the ball giving us no space in the final 3rd. City on the other hand will have a lot of the ball in their final 3rd and they are a very attacking side so that will leave a lot of space for us to run in to. I do think we can get a result at City i think they would settle for a point which is what i think will happen. But i do think to put ourselves back in the race we do need all 3 points.

I think we need to have some perspective here, back in August i said i felt we wouldn't win the title. Jose has said the same thing and on countless number of times stated this is a side building for next season, if we won the league this season it would have been way ahead of schedule. So lets not get to downhearted if we fail to win the league shall we? All we have to ask for it that we finish less than 14 points behind the eventual winner which will be/should be Man City and if that's the case then we have improved.

Former Liverpool player Ronny Rosenthal (yes the man who missed that open goal) was talking on BT Sports Life's a Pitch tonight. Not sure if anyone caught it but he does/did scouting for clubs over Europe trying to find players when they are young and get buyers for the players.

He stated he watched Vincent Kompany play when he was 16 and the team who was close to signing him??? Yes Chelsea!!!! He stated they wouldn't pay the ?5million being asked for him, hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it!!!

To be fair to West Ham, it was one of the best defensive performances I've seen in a while. So many times when the smaller teams battle to a result against a bigger sides, I've seen people praising them on end saying they defended brilliantly, but most of the time these teams actually didn't defend well as they allowed the team to get in behind them time after time only to get bailed out by the luck of the woodwork or a fantastic goalkeeper. That doesn't apply to West Ham though, they were fantastic.

I knew how they felt when we played Birmingham away a few years ago. That was a case of a team getting ridiculously lucky, not defending well.

To be fair they did get bailed out by Adrian on a few occasions ... Defended very well though

Don't see why people are complaining tbh, 7 straight wins ... It had to end some time. We look infinitely better as a team with Matic in the middle though. He is honestly the midfielder we have been crying out for

Allardyce on Mourinho's claims, as he laughs: "I couldn't give a *****!"

Big Sam lad <3

Big Sam is a hero.

He can tell me all he wants. I don't give a *****, to be honest. I love to see Chelsea players moaning at the referee, trying to intimidate the officials, and Jos? jumping up and down in his technical area. It's great to see

I know you hate the fact that Jose is a brilliant manager but at least read the entire interview instead of selecting whatever parts you fancy and taking them ridiculously out of context before commenting. He actually said that he doesn't blame WH for parking the bus because HE WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME IN THEIR POSITION. The only reason he mentioned the '19th century' **** is because he was telling the reporter how he can't blame Chelsea for not winning as they tried their best but WH only came looking for a point... Media taking quotes out of context and you gleefully falling in with them

And do you honestly think our performance at the Emirates even compares to WH's performance at the bridge? Maybe you should go watch both games again before you say we parked the bus at the Emirates to the same degree that WH did at the Bridge

I have read the full interview, it's about how Jose called team boring for not scoring at Home..

Did you read the full one after the West Ham game before you decided to attack him for being hypocritical?

Also their is a major difference between sitting deep, absorbing pressure and looking to spring on the counter that Jose played at the Emirates and the game WH played at the bridge. They basically decided to fake injuries, push and shove so much in the box that the referee lost control of the game. The goalkeeper started to waste time from the 1st minute. They literally defended with 9 men in the box. Their counter-attacks consisted of hoofing long balls to no one in particular. Is it wrong? Not at all but it's ludicrous to compare this performance to Chelsea's at the Emirates

Good on Big Sam to get a result. Heaven knows, he deserves some joy after the collective spanking his team have received in recent weeks

Still a boring team as per Jose.

That is subjective depending on how you perceive the game

I think boring is a team that plays at home and cannot score a goal. That's boring. Because you go to your stadium and you fill your stadium, in weather like we had on Monday, to see victories. There is not a home fan in any club in the world who goes to the stadium and expects his team not to score or win."

Its not my opinion, Jose's.

Point being? Did he say something along the lines of 'Chelsea were exciting in the WH game despite not scoring a goal'? I don't even think he even mentioned the word 'boring' in his post-match press conference after the WH game at all.

In fact, all he said was the he would play the same way WH played if he was in their position, congratulated them on their point and had a little moan about the some of the lengths they went to (ie. dirty tactics, time wasting) ... It's ridiculous to criticize him here considering that he was more candid and forthright than most managers would be in his place

I never said he said all of that, just that as per his interview after Arsenal game Chelsea were boring.

Also it's funny Jose talking about diving, time wasting and dirty tactics as that's exactly what his Porto team did against ManUtd.

Anyways reports in France that a deal has been agreed for Zouma. 6 month loan in St Etienne before he joins up with the Chelsea squad in the summer

Not sure if Big Sam really said this, but if he then it's EPIC.

Mourinho on West Ham: "This is not Premier League, this is not the best league in the world. This is football from the 19th century."
Mourinho: "The only thing I can bring more to win was a Black and Decker. A Black and Decker to destroy the wall."
Mourinho: "It's very difficult to play a football match when only one team wants to play. A football match is about two teams playing."

Allardyce on Mourinho's quotes: "He has a point. But only one."

I still fail to see your point ... What are you trying to say? That Chelsea were boring? I rather they were boring but still in the title race rather than exciting and being out of the top 4 by January

And I am pretty sure that Jose isn't the first manager and won't be the last who one could accuse of being slightly hypocritical in his interviews/comments. Not to mention the game you are referring happpened more than 10 years ago with a completely different set of players ...

Didnt say it

Moyes loses 5 games out of his last 8. People move on. Mourinho draws one in his last eight games and wins the rest beating Liverpool and United along the way and everyone goes mad
