Agree. Don't think Luiz would be a big miss to Chelsea tbh sell him bring in a quality ST then have Kalas/Zouma learning/rotating with Terry and Cahill.

Salah is having a shocker at the moment. A bit like Schurrle in the first half vs Fulham

Plenty of rumours going around that David Luiz has agreed a deal to move to Barcelona after the world cup.

If its around 30mill then i'd take it, said that all along.

He had a very poor first half but played much better in the 2nd.

Always nice to end the season with a win even if we did make it hard for ourselves today. 1st half was as frustrating as most lately but we were actually creating proper chances instead of half chances but still couldn't take them. Felt Hazard and Salah were very poor in the 1st half arguably the two worst players on the field.

Credit where credit is due both players livened up in the 2nd half especially Salah. But for me the match turned when Schurrle came on, his direct running at players and willingness to shoot on sight really did give us something different. For me he was our man of the match today getting a goal and an assist. Felt Kalas looked composed again and hopefully we will see more of him next season. Was also brilliant to see Ake and Swift, good to see a fellow Pompey boy making the grade.

I will end on a little tribute to the best fullback to grace the Premier League Ashley Cole. In my opinion he is by far the best and our best fullback ever, he deserved to captain the side today on what looks to be his sendoff. Also retiring from International football tonight he has no doubt been England's most consistent player in the last 10 years. He will go down as a Premier League, England and more importantly Chelsea legend for me, thanks for the memories Cole.

Seen a lot of respect shown for cole on twitter from fans of clubs up and down the country which shows what an incredible full back he has been! Even managed to spot a few tweets from arsenal fans which was nice to see

3 biggest winners and losers for the season?

For me it has to be:

Winners
. Dave. The man who has helped ease the loss of Ashley Cole, he's arguably the best fullback in the league right now. The small sum we paid for him is looking better by the day.
. Cahill. I wouldn't say that Mourinho has added anything to his game, but what he has done is refine him incredibly well. If you had told me 2 years ago that Gary Cahill was going to arguably be our first choice centre half, I would have never believed you.
. Hazard/Schurrle. Hazard has started to really become the player we all hoped he would be. If he can build on this year's advances and keep growing, he's destined for stardom. Schurrle seems to be finding his place with us now, and I honestly think all he needs is a run in the side with an attacking fullback behind him.

Losers
.Oscar.
Looks tired and jaded, probably because he is. It will be very interesting to see him play for Brazil in a bit more of a free role to see where the problem lies.
. Ramires. All those rough edges that made fans unsure about him when he first moved here - his poor touch, his jack of all trades skillset, his rash temper - all seem to have returned with gusto this season. He hasn't even been bad, but he really should be thriving in Mourinho's style of play.
. Mata. He might be gone now, but our 2x PotY floundered more than anyone else this year. Rarely used in a central position and obviously frustrated by Mourinho's style of play, he looked like a shadow of himself. Our glaring weakness this season - an inability to break down packed defenses - makes his isolation and subsequent sale jar all the more. Hopefully we might see the issue addressed in the summer, but this still feels like it could be the biggest mistake that we've made since Torres.

Getting in someone like Alberto Moreno would be ideal to add some depth to our defense

Costa would fit right into the Prem, and he's a very Jose player. He's not quite a penalty box poacher - he's merely a good finisher as opposed to the right of his game - but he'll get enough to warrant the money. ?32 million is about right I'd say.
