Very good piece. Only thing I would say is that it's not without question on Luis, Alaba might have something to say about that.

Every credible newspaper in the last 2 months has also reported that Chelsea/City pulled out of the Shaw deal because they couldn't match United's financial package. I never said Jose was my best source but it does help that he stated it so directly and was one of the principal actors in the deal

Now obviously he could have moved to United for a plethora of reasons. I personally feel money played the biggest part. I might be wrong obviously but that's my opinion

So like I said from the start, it's open on why he joined, it could have been a number of reasons, including for money. I don't get why that was so hard for you to accept from the start though

This is hilarious. It really is ... I don't care when you attack me personally. I just hate it when you try and take the moral high ground if I or anyone for that matter retaliates. You'll start telling me how I should learn to behave and what not. The way I look at you, you are the type of guy who will rape a woman and then you get arrested by the police, you will probably justify your actions by saying how the woman shouldn't have been wearing skimpy clothes or shouldn't have been partying in a night club with the big and bad adults

Or maybe you are the type who will call a black person a Ne*ro and then when he retaliates, you will complain about him being a 'sensitive soul' and how he should 'learn to play with the adults or just go away and cry' and stop playing the race card

Now before you accuse me of calling you a rapist or racist, which you probably might, these are just analogies. You want to make things personal, go ahead. Just don't start crying when people retaliate like you have done numerous times and then try take the moral high ground

because whenever I brought up the reason that money was the decisive factor, people would essentially dismiss it and become incredibly defensive such as zzeezy who kept saying 'I find it hard to believe that United would pay so much to a 19 year-old' or Sunil who would say 'Alcaraz I refuse to believe you until you provide me with a link that stated explicitly that Shaw's wage demand were too high'

We might as well keep Bamford if we end up selling Lukaku. Hopefully it's not the case.

Very interesting news with Lukaku. It now throws the Drogba situation into something rather more compelling. As a fourth choice striker who hangs around being a leader and mentor and is brought out of cold storage for situations that suit him, Drogba would be perfect. As a third choice striker actively expected to start and finish some reasonably important games? It remains to be seen. Still, I'm sure Mourinho knows what he's doing, he's exceptional at handling veterans.

Cheers bud, and yeah to be fair Alaba did slip my mind when i was writing it if he didn't i would have said up there with Alaba. Just typical i wrote it on the back of Jose's "we are done in record time" quotes only for us to sign Drogba a day after its put up on the site!
