We are still way tooo reliant on Matic and Fabregas ... If either of them get injured or lose form, it will badly hurt our quality in the centre of the park

I'v been impressed with Van Ginkel too pre-season.

When he played competitively he was decent, clean sheet vs Barca too! Only messed in in friendlies. Good to keep him on board.

Looks a very tidy player for sure ... Wishful thinking would be that Mourinho is not going for any midfielder because he has his sights set on Pogba next window when he would be down to the last year of his contract (as things stand at least)

I remember only first hearing of him because JT had to wear his jersey to go in goal against reading and absolutely ******** myself when he had to make his debut against Barcelona only for him to put in arguebly his best performance in a Chelsea shirt. Always a pretty reliable back up and good to see him take up a coaching role.
 
Bit surprised to see some schurlle to atletico rumours pop up today can't see it happening personally
 
Also not to mention schurrle has dreamt of being a Chelsea player for a while. (I know that doesn't always mean much e.g lukaku but unlike him schurrle is actually a first teamer at the club)
 
Is Azpi likely to be first choice this season? Thinking of putting him in my fantasy team!

Part of the reason Filipe was bought was so Chelsea could have natural full-backs on both sides. Bit harsh on Iva, but there you are!

i want ant to know who will be the Chelsea number 1 when it comes to fantasy football, and also seeing as you're the palace man which palace defenders should I stick in my team ward and hangeland or switch out hangeland for Dann?

I'm guessing Courtois, but it's hard to say.

Pick Dann. Hangeland's unlikely to start consistently. Ward's a great pick.
