It was good, but how bad was the attempts by the Arsenal players to prevent him.

Easy for us to say, but once a player like Hazard gets up to speed and you're static against him it's nearly impossible to stop him without infringing.

Unfortunately, the one who DID infringe was the defender in the area. Really you want it to be the first man to give them a free-kick 25 yards out and perhaps a yellow, rather than a penalty.

Quite a dominating performance, although Cahill should get a flat out red. But one bad decision doesn't exclude Arsena's impotence.

If it was Jose who pushed Wenger and Jose who came out and used the "financial muscle" argument despite Arsenal's net spend being far higher since Jose came back then the media would have slated him! The way other clubs get away with **** just frustrates me so much and its not even Chelsea here now either. Man Utd have been slated so much so far this season by the media, yet they are above Liverpool and Arsenal!!!!!!!

Still baffled by his comments!

He completely lost the plot. His sides away record against the Top 4 is genuinely horrendous. Although yesterday for the first time, he did adopt a more pragmatic approach which will probably serve him well in future matches against big teams

Sanchez caught punching Ivanovic off the camera. Arsenal fans letting off smoke bombs delaying the match. Seems like everyone from the manager to the Arsenal fans lost their marbles against Chelsea

Newspapers getting ridiculous now. Apparently we are going for Khedira AND Pogba.
Is Jose switching to 3-7-0?

I genuinely see us going for Pogba next summer. Young, homegrown and highly rated by Jose and fills a hole in the squad. Plus Jose is sitting on a massive pile of cash that he is probably itching to spend

Then if Chelsea sign someone like Xabi Alonso, they can have a midfield that makes Arsenal, United AND Liverpool fans sad!

I like Pogba, I really do, but we don't need midfielders. None of our midfielders are at an age where you start thinking to replace them.
If Kalas won't be played by Koln, then we need a CB. That is all, the rest is covered.

Pls, Strootman, Vidal i Di Maria > Alonso, Pogba and Fabregas.

I think Arsenal fans are already sad.

But how would Xabi Alonso ever happen? Bayern Munich have him and he isn't getting any younger.

I know a lot of people rave over Pogba but I really don't see what he does to deserve it.

Ok you may think I'm just a United fan who is saying that only because he has left, but I still think he hasn't hit any kind of height to deserve the over-hype he gets.

Didn't realise that Juve were buying Di maria and Strootman.

I was being facetious with Xabi Alonso. It pretty clearly wasn't a realistic scenario.

If you can't see why Pogba's being hyped, you're a bit mad. He's an amazing all-round player who is developing day by day. He's a big, strong, technical tackler and goalscorer with a good passing range and a decent amount of pace. He's essentially the complete midfielder, and one who's been outperforming two of the best in the world in Marchisio and Vidal this season. Put him in a midfield with Matic and Fabregas and Chelsea would have the best midfield in the world and it wouldn't even be close.
