Hey mate, I recall you are a Milan fan. How is the Torres doing? As bad as some sources suggest?

Yeah that's me mate! Torres scored 1 goal in I think his second match for us, a decent header and had a generally good game was MOTM in that match for me.

Since then he has played sporadically up until the derby draw vs inter. I don't think he has even played since then and that was over a month ago :S

Menez and Honda have been our goal threats generally and it looks like Torres is going to be distant backup really.

Shame to know how amazing he once and watching him now

Im a liverpool supporter & think Matic is amazing & definitely the best player in his position, he's made chelsea tick more than anyone else, & thats since they brought him back, if he'd been playing in Europe last season they'd hav won the champs league.

1. Please refer to your own post. You were the one saying Matic is 'half-decent against Stoke' and all I said was that your post is hilarious in hindsight considering he put in a MOTM performance

Their is no point even speculating whether he can perform against Barcelona or not, we will know when he actually gets the chance to face them. Also so what if they have been ****** in Europe, that's no indication of anything. Dortmund are amazing in Europe this season get in the relegation zone. We have even crying out for a player with Fabregas' qualities for ages. Someone who can set the tempo of the game, good on the ball and can spray the ball out from deep to our attacking players to initiate counter-attacks. I remember in 2011, Mata was continually forced to drop deep to get the ball because our midfielders simply couldn't transition to attack and when he did get the ball, he found himself up against 2 lines of players blunting any attack

The main worry with Fabregas was his defensive ability in the pivot. At Arsenal, he basically had a free role with minimal defensive responsibility. At Barcelona, it was hard to judge because Barcelona have so much of the ball and as soon as they lose it, they press and press to win it back. Glad to say that he moulded his game and puts in a great shift defensively. Although it does help that he has a world-class DM in Matic beside him

We were close to getting someone similar in Luka Modric in 2011 but that's it
