Google the latest New England Patriots controversy. The Pats are accused of being a bit "naughty" shall we say lately
think i saw this did thay let the air out of there balls so it was easyer to trow in a playoff game

We lost to Bradford, City to Boro, Spurs to Leicester, Southhampton to Palace... What a day, you don't get these very often.

But yet again and it's something I've been saying for a while now, we don't pick up players who arrive late around the edge of our box, which consequently is where Bradford ended up scoring their first and third goals from.

Is Jose trying to make a point? He needs another defender? I don't know what's going on honestly. Jose's teams (especially Chelsea) used to be known for not conceding a lot, if any. He was the master of defending back in the day (not talking about the bus, but proper defence), not sure what's happening.

Cahill has been terrible at the back for about two months now and I know he didn't play today but add Brana at RB and it's a bad mixture, I know they were good last season but this season our right-hand side has been terrible at times and it gets even worse when Mourinho plays Mikel in front of them.

Allegedly yeah. 11 of the 12 were a pound lighter than what they should have been or something

Seriously though, should we pursue a defender this month?

I don't think we need to get a new defender. Cahill and Brana just need to sort it out, I think Felipe Luis needs more time to adjust because he is far to weak in the tackle at times. Personally if I was Mourinho I would be looking at getting a more expansive DM in (I hate Mikel with a passion) and look to play a bit more wider because we a far to narrow in some games.

I have to credit Jose with being classy, after he congratulated every single Bradford player and staff member in their dressing room.

Not even sure what's up with our defense lately. A quality CB is a must in the summer but I now think we might have to get someone in now. Only question is ... Who is available?

I have been saying this for so long and once again, our fringe players are simply not stepping up

Salah was apparently **** except for two good runs. Can we sell him quickly please?

Schurrle didn't even make the squad. Either he is getting sold or he is ill (again). Maybe he should just take the entire season off because he is **** whenever he does step on the field

Drogba was lethargic and poor. Is he so arrogant that he doesn't bother to put in a shift during small games? Maybe he should remember his role in the squad as a reserve striker

We were never going to win the quadruple. Hopefully being in one less competition means we don't see any of these clowns get time on the pitch

Fair play to Bradford. Fantastic comeback from them and I hope they now go on to have a brilliant cup run like they did a few years back in the COC.

Wow wow wow! As much as it hurts this is one of the reasons we all love football and the FA Cup isn't it! Absolutely fair play to Bradford, winning against Chelsea at the Bridge despite being 2-0 down is an exceptional feat and one of the biggest cup upsets ever in my eyes. I won't go on about the game too much because i never got to see it and not sure i can say much except that there is a reason Jose keeps playing the same 12-13 players on a more regular basis than the others.

What i want to focus on is all the downbeat fans who are now starting to question Jose, the side and our ability to beat the top sides now this season. I want to put some people's minds at rest and take a look at Chelsea's record under Jose after defeats and put my theory that "we come out stronger" to the test.

Our first defeat under Jose came back in 10/04 against Man City. We then went on a 13 game unbeaten run winning 11 of them! The defeat at the end of this 13 game unbeaten run came in our 6th Champions League group game which was a dead rubber.

After losing our 2nd game of the season back in 2006 against Middlesbrough we went on another 13 game unbeaten run winning 11 again.

After a 1-0 defeat to Bremen that same year we went on a 14 game unbeaten run managing 8 wins.

That 14 game unbeaten run was stopped in the tracks of a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool but after that we put together a 23 game unbeaten run!!!! This included 18 victories!!!

I could go on and on but i'll finish by doing this season, after our first defeat to Newcastle we won our next 5 matches keeping 3 clean sheets in the process! And then when we lost to Spurs we won our next 3 matches keeping clean sheets in all 3!

Just keep calm ladies, gents, old fans, new fans, proper Chels or plastic fans WE HAVE NO REASON TO PANIC!! In some ways this defeat will make us stronger! Plus i will be attending the game on Tuesday night and we have only lost twice in matches which i have attended since 1997 so we got this!

UTC!!!

When you are currently the best team in the country and have lost two games all season losing to Bradford and conceding four goals at it at home is a disgrace.

Ive had a late night and didn't read you're post entirely correct ( basically read it as if you didn't agree losing to Bradford is a disgrace rather than you criticising the way Jose comes across with his comments) and I do agree he can act a ***** tbh and he has been really ******* me off lately with his comments about Chelsea fans constantly. If he wants a better atmosphere maybe he should have a word with his bosses about ticket prices and the amount of tickets that go to companies that are pretty much legalised touts.

he is his own worst enemy at times when he first came to chelsea all those years ago he was a breath of fresh air an funny but now he is just a boring old nag. ticket prices are ridiculous every where hopefully something is done about that soon or people will stop goen to games altogether.

The problem also lies with the media. He says something perfectly normal for a manager in this day and age (eg. Criticizing referee's or opposing players) and the media blows it up as some pseudo mind games bullshit. Whereas if any other manager does the same, it hardly warrants a mention

I wouldn't describe Jose as classy myself. But let's face it, having the balls to go into the away dressing room and congratulate the lower team is still a good gesture. Other managers wouldn't do it or worst still, they would rather sign autographs shamelessly

Eh, other managers don't usually imply there's some referee conspiracy against their team. Jose does this **** everywhere he goes. That's the main reason why his referee quotes blow up while nobody cares about the other guys.

I do agree though, that most of his ******** image is artificially manufactured by the media. When I watch the press conferences the guy just sits there, always calm, controlled and polite, answersing questions. Even if he says something smug, he's always completely relaxed about it. Its really as boring as pressers can get.

Then I read about a conference in a paper, and suddenly I find out that his passionate speech to the press shook the roof, his jokes made the earth tremble, and his comments about the other team were made while screaming in a distinctively Hitlerish manner.

Dont think he said their was a referee conspiracy in such explicit terms. He only said that decisions have been going against Chelsea in the past few games during that period. And their were some huge decision tbh

Completely agree about the press-conferences. They are really very boring but the way the papers present them, it's like they were some Oscar-winning production with scandals, controversy and brilliant stories

Interesting video on Gary Cahill's defending, note Ivanovic's position on all the clips.
