Thought was odd 2 out 1 in if Salah people get what they want and deal goes through. Some financial guy said something about needing to keep balancing the books at Chelsea. Like you said leaving you guys thin with 2 leaving if the Juan deal goes through, better hope Salah and his people don't **** it up now Schurrle gone

No need to balance the books. We have enough money to spend without having to sell. Perhaps club is keeping reserves so that they can make 2-3 big signings this summer. That is perhaps plausible but leave us at the risk of finishing trophyless if we have bad luck

Yeah that's what I thought. Same for us really will be spending big again in the Summer and wont just sign anyone. What other players you have out wide now Willian,Hazard,Salah atm?
 
Doubt it will happen, but if Salah blocks this transfer, he will end up like Malouda. Poor Malouda, really liked him.

Ramires, Oscar, Costa and Remy can slot out wide if needed I suppose. Worst case, Filipe Luis can do a job there as well

Yeah suppose so but would not be great I would have thought. Would lose something a out and out wide player would offer. Do you think it would of been better keeping Schurlle till the summer pushing on so many fronts?

    The Wolfsburg branch of German tabloid Bild tweets a picture of Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs, who is reported to have said he was "relaxed" as negotiations over the transfer of Andre Schurrle from Chelsea continue.

    Allofs was present at a press conference this morning and German magazineKicker (in German) reported him as saying Wolfsburg "have done everything" to conclude the deal for Schurrle. "It's about money and we are waiting for Chelsea's decision."

    Meanwhile the Bild website (in German) is reporting the total cost of the Schurrle deal will come in at close to £50m...
 
Wages are probably in that sum too, bonuses as well. 50 million for Schurrle? We won't get away with that twice in a row.
 
That includes add ons, agent fees, wages etc. Fee being paid to chelsea is roughly 27 mil.

Probably yes but I suppose he wants to play as well so we have to do good by him. Plus we probably won't get the same fee we are getting now in the summer. I just hope our squad can remain healthy for the rest of the season

I think the problem is paying fee to home clubs. They have to pay small percentage for the clubs that developed these players. Chelsea want Wolfsburg and Fiorentina to pay, so that's the stumbling block as per twitter rumors.
 
Few pictures of Schurlle and his people leaving Wolfsbergs ground in the German media, no news of a deal completed yet.

Not quite true. That sale is what's holding up Cuadrado's purchase.
