Massive win, makes it all the more sweeter with all the booings directed at every player.

Rob Green just secured his contract with Chelsea next season :D

Don't even dare think that. I know you probably meant it as a joke, but can you imagine the conspiracy theorists if he actually were to sign for us?

Even our U19's are winners! I just hope we see some of them feature more often next season. Here's the goals from the final...

Meanwhile,

'It was Bamford's 17th league goal of the season - beating Fabrizio Ravanelli's 18-year Riverside record.'

We're continuing our fine tradition of signing Brazilians known by forenames. Oscar, Nathan, Wallace, Alex, William, Louise...

You might want to hold on a bit with Louise, I hear Kenedy is next on our list.

Bamford looks like a great player, but can you ever see him breaking into the Chelsea squad?

If he is given a fair chance, not just 5-10 minutes every game, he will do it. He's a Lampard type of player, incredibly smart and ambitious, so I seriously doubt he will flop, be that at Chelsea or anywhere else.

Unfortunately the young lad has suffered heavily from injuries this season and I think he's only made about 8 appearances for Milan, with the majority coming off the bench. I imagine he'll be out on loan again next season.

Not for a couple of seasons I imagine. He has done well in the championship but as we saw with Zaha, their is a huge difference between running riot in the championship and performing for a club in the CL

Can't see van ginkel making it at the club. 1 or 2 more loans before being shipped out permemantly me thinks.

Anyone of you regret selling De Bryune?

Probably two ways of looking at it.. In a way, the move was good for his career, he wouldn't have gotten as much playing time at Chelsea, and probably wouldn't have developed as much. Also, at Wolfsburg, play happens through KdB instead of around him, probably bringing out the best in him.. Not really sure that would have happened at Chelsea..

Nope. We always knew how talented he was. In fact, Wolfsburg president said something along the lines of 'Chelsea scouts have watched in satisfaction as they see De Bruyne developing into a player they always knew he could be'. He would never have become as good if he stayed on the bench at Chelsea. We got good money for him as well
