Just general question. If anyone here trying to build team based on one nationality? I mean full regen team of nationality where are your club come from?

I was thinking of doing something similar to that earlier! Mine was like have the defence + goalkeeper of one nationality, then midfielders of a different one and strikers of another nationality :)

This guy, well....he is special, the best regen i've EVER had, ever! Call me mad, call me crazy, i paid 72m for him. 60m up front, 12m on clauses (im rich its ok)

Bastien Durand is incredible! Got a real gem of a player there :) I can't wait to find players who develop that well. How did you find him and make him so good?

He's a beast!!!! 8 goals in 6 games, 5, yes 5, against chelsea...single handedly demolished them, won 7-1 :D also beat tottenham 8-0 but anyways ya he is amazing, i came across him when he was 18. He played in France. tried to sign him but they wanted about 40m and his stats werent great at the time and i didnt have enough space to play him so i left him there and decided to check him out again and when i saw those stats, boy oh boy. i needed him and i finally got him! His stats arent a result of my training but i think it was marseilles training and alot of exposure to first team football.

You will find quality regens, i try snap them up young and cheap or else you pay 72m for a guy like Durand lol

I like alot of pace and dribbling in my team so thats what my teams is made up of, or atleast i tried lol

Check every march and april for regens thats usually when they all appear from all the leagues across the world. French, German & Brazilian, some turks too seem to be the best producers of regens so check them out :)

i would love to do that but i am arsenal and there is no way i will be able to get 5 quality english regens for my team let alone a whole team.
 
Since the update, my team gets no good new youth players coming through, despite top youth facilities, excellent youth training and a well established recruitment network. Nothing above 1 star potential after about 15 tries. Anyone else getting this issue?

I'm in third season, and I've found 5 dutch regens that are good enough for challenging Eredivise ( I'm playing with Vitesse) and to get past UCL group stage. I also got 4 regens from my own school who looks pretty decent, and one of them will be a world beater for sure. I find dull to buy all good regens in first couple of seasons and then you have almost guarantied success. Yes, when you're Arsenal for example, it's expected to win couple of titles every year, so it's very hard to do this, but when you're playing with teams from Portugal, Holland, Belgium, Croatia, i find it very amusing, nurturing home grown talents and beat the world with them.

I had that! My recent intake, all the players were half a star potential. ALL OF THEM!

yer i totaly agree, i was mainly having a rant about the lack of good english regens. ;)

i will say tho that i think if i was a german team i could do it. there are many quality german regens in my game. i am in 2018 almost and i have 3 german regens heavily challeging the likes of pastore, bale and hummels for a place in the starting line-up and in most of their cases sucseding. and thats only for my arsenal team.

im trying to build a squad of english youths from my system but i keep finding these little blighters abroad to, and to keep at our level in the prem i guess we need them too at the moment, finished 4th with wba in the 2017/18 season View attachment 293309 signed via compensation of 1.6m, i've got united trying to pay 28m for View attachment 293310 & my defence is built with this guy smothering the central spot View attachment 293311 still i play 5 of my own youth output in the first team (long, boyata & zaha the other 3)
