The Custom Database Editing Request Thread

The reason your db does'nt work is that Yugolavia has no nation and has no way of setting it,

So I tried to first using your db, remove nation rules and then renaming Armenia to Yugoslavia and changing competition nation, but it crashed so I started over from scratch and this is where it all went weird, Again I renamed Armenia added Competitions and teams and set nation rules. then when I got to select nations Armenia now called Yugoslavia had the little triangle telling me no teams were in Leagues which are in Editor, also greece and Ukraine had triangles though I had'nt touched these Nations or Leagues.

Then I thought I would go into default config and see if I could add Continent to old Yugoslavia but I cant seem to find it anywhere either in Mydocs or program files.

Totally puzzled as I change Nations and Competitions all the time and never had this problem before.

Will keep trying and if anyone knows where to locate default config please let me know either here or PM me.
 
I would like the english system as followed
1st Divison 22 teams-all teams in epl + 2 teams from npower championship
2nd divison 22 teams- remaining 22 teams
3rd divison 24 teams-leave
4th divison 24 teams-leave

Thanks for trying mate. Actually, I think you had it right when you renamed Armenia. The little triangles are misleading. The one next to Greece actually corresponds to Croatia, Ukraine to Serbia and Yugoslavia to Slovenia. Those are the unplayable countries, which makes sense. The triangle is just WAY right of the nation name so it looks like it corresponds to the nation on its right, when it actually corresponds to the nation on its left. So if you go back to what you had, I think you might have solved my problem :)

After you make that overall structure and make it work, I'll be able to fiddle with the foreign player rules and little things like that yeah?

Also, the national team of Armenia (now Yugoslavia), will it compete in UEFA and FIFA competitions? If you could make it so it doesn't, that would be great.
 
Cant believe I missed that, I cant tell you how many times I've played around with the nations to get it to work, I had come to the conclusion that you could'nt change Nation Name, Will get on to it and set the Nation Rules up for you.:)

OK all set up as you had in your db but Armenia nation now renamed Yugoslavia.

Champions League and Euro Cup Places still need editing replace these teams with another from same nation but that is'nt in your league system. ie serbia for serbia

Go to Comp Page and select registered Teams then click on drop down box next to name of club and search for new club use filter to find same nation clubs.

I had done this on a previous version but deleted it when I thought db was'nt working.

On holiday test Euro Cup stopped working after 3rd round so this will need doing to right things:)
 
Just read your post about International cups best to leave as is so you wont get crash dumps in Game
Armenia are **** anyway, so FIFA rating will be poor and regens should mostly be from Stadium cities so New Yugoslavia wont be getting any decent players anyway.
 
in serbian super league, there is rule that only registred players can play games... well, could someone made new rule that is just like in english premier league, players aged u21 dont need to be registred. yea, one more thing, to remove work permit... :) Tried my self, failed, tnx a lot...
 
Good News Drigz Yugoslavia now in Europe and entered into Euro Competitions this should make it easier for you to finish off and looking at your work so far, am hoping you will upload finished Db to FM Base for others to enjoy.:)

Created Craig Whyte, Made sugar daddy gave Rangers 150m Balance, 100m transfer budget and remaining wage budget 1m, activated sugar daddy increases Starting finances.

Have'nt tested due to currently testing another Db but should work ok.

Will take a look but not sure that you can determine fixtures in playoff system, Spending cap can be done though.

So you want two divisions with 16 clubs in each?

What about cups? Do you want just they clubs in the cups or the usual ones?
 
Can you create the prem with a spending cap and wage cap etc?
