Got a decision to make here, looking to sign one of these. Any input is appreciated.
Player: Kurt Zouma
Team you are managing: Liverpool
Team who are selling: AS Saint-Etienne
Offer: £30m
Year: 2013
Other Info: I sold Skrtel, managed to get £22.5m for him, and need a replacement. He accepted a contract offer of £55K p/w, but his potential has declined from 5 stars in the start of the game to 4 stars. I can afford the £30m, but it will empty my bank (though I'm already finished with all the other transfers). Is it possible he has stagnated at Saint-Etienne, or are my scouts just being pessimistic? And I know everyone says he's a beast, but £30m still seems alot. Maybe I should wait a year to see if his price drops? Unless his potential drops further by that time...

Team who are selling: Vasco
Offer: £25m
Other info: Fairly young (turning 25 in a couple of weeks) for a centre back, and great attributes. He even has 16 in both pace and acceleration, which I favor due to my often high defensive line. A bit cheaper than Zouma, but still expensive. Could perhaps have had a bit better mental attributes. My scouts say 4 star potential.
Player: Nicolas Nkoulou
Team who are selling: OM
Offer: £35m
Other Info: To be perfectly honest, this is the guy who seems the most attractive at the moment. Recently turned 23, great attributes and good pace/acceleration (15). Has accepted a contract offer of £60K p/w, and would go straight into the first team. My scouts say 4 star potential.
Player: Raphael Varane
Team who are selling: Real Madrid
Offer: £20m + Glen Johnson (valued at £14m)
Other Info: I already signed Corchia for right back, so I'm looking to sell Johnson anyway as he probably won't increase anymore in value and will turn 29 later this year. Has accepted a contract offer of £110K p/w, which is fairly high but I will get rid of Carragher, Henderson and Carroll this summer, who combined will save me well over £200K p/w (plus Johnson is on £80K p/w). A bit tempted to go for him instead of Nkoulou actually, as he is better - but the salary is very high, and I've gotten transfer offers for Johnson as high as £28m (which would make the transfer worth £48m!) My scouts say 5 star potential.
EDIT: I've been comparing the players based on their attributes relevant to the central defender role, personality, preferred moves, age and value for money. I'd like to say I've made up my mind, but it actually just made the decision even harder!
Zouma is so young and has amazing attributes for his age, and in regard to wages he'd be the cheapest. Nkoulou is almost 5 years older, but already has great mental attributes, although his heading, marking and tackling are not really better than Zouma's. And as we all know, mental attributes increase automatically with age/experience. Varane is 20 and have slightly better mental attributes than Zouma, his heading/marking/tackling are on the same level as the other two, but has far lower physical attributes than them (including low quickness). His wage is also a negative factor. When it comes to Dedé, I've pretty much decided against him. He asked for wages around £80K p/w, and although being the oldest of the four he does not have notably higher mental attributes. I'm a bit more tempted to go for Zouma now oO)

i would've gone with zouma myself, haven't seen an 18 year old defender with stats as good as that in the 6 or so years i've played the game (apart from regens). possibly the perfect defender, quick, tall, strong, great mental stats for his age, and great technical stats for his age, having said that, n'koulou is class aswell although his heading/jumping could be better, maybe sign zouma in the near future if you can, him and n'koulou could work very well together, n'koulou ball player with cover duty and zouma as a stopper, with a high line.
Yeah, that's exactly my plan. By the time I sell Agger, which is probably within 2 years, Zouma will have gotten better and hopefully a bit cheaper. Or at least that's what I hope. I will set Agger to tutor Nkoulou in the meantime. I would probably have gone with Zouma right away if it wasn't for the fact I thought he was a bit young to step right into the first team. I'll give him a year or two, he's definitely the next centre back I'll buy (unless some ridiculous regen appears).
yeah good plan, i had him for swansea on fm 12 was playing first team at 19 with inigo martinez next to him, who you should also look at, martinez is great, might be a decent price aswell and he's left footed, with great technical stats.

What is his potential?
pretty all rounded stats so i'd say deal due to the positions he can cover. nothing much can go wrong since you can get rid of carrick for 10m and top up only 200k to get garmesh. casemiro is also worth looking at as well

Deal mate, coming from my own experience Garmash is a solid performer and definately worth that price. Keep us posted with how he does if you do sign him.

I think the it is a decent price -not massive but not selling cheap either - and it depends whether you normally get a good transfer budget/if you need the money; and is he a key part of your team?
If you're getting £30m a season anyway, I'd sell him and buy Eriksen.

Not really sure what to do fellas.
Im completely torn, the club definately needs the money, and with trying to still find my feet in the game, i am not overly blessed with funds. I am still in and around were Everton are IRL. So needless to say, i am not attracting the big names stars..

How about Wellington Nem, although he is really effective on the right wing, he is just as effective playing as an amc. Alternatively, what about Otavio or Isco?

YES YES YES!! I saw him go to Real Madrid on my Liverpool save instead of me 3rd season and have been gutted as he tears up la liga since. Just bought him 1st season with United myself in January, can't wait to get him slotted into the team.
