hey guys. I'm about to start this challenge and I would like to ask for tips on what nations I should load at the start as well as the database size. I want to find the best players to guarantee promotion. Any help?

I have a question: Can I sign Staff that are Not from san marino? Or does everyone have to be from san marino, How about players for the Club? San Marino only?

My screenshots aren't working at the moment for some reason so I can't post SS of my progress :(

Anyone know of a decent tactic for 1.4.3 with AML/AMR's?

Do the national teams have reputation levels like the clubs/leagues? I can't seem to find any "stars" anywhere, but this would be very interesting since it could be a way to develop Sammarinese football parallell to improving the club side (assuming the nations with the best reputations gets the most talented players). Does anybody know if there is such a reputation and if it can rise through qualifying for/winning international tournaments? Could it be connected to the world rankings? I'm at a point where the national team is pretty decent, which the match odds seem to reflect, but some news items (and the disinclination of even the weak players with dual citizenships to choose San Marino) makes me think the game still considers San Marino as whipping boys...

I was too far into my game when i realized it was possible to get the Sammarinese league, but I guess this could be another way of doing it. It would be interesting to see if anybody has improved the reputation of the league to the level where the clubs have gone professional and actually developed some players of decent quality? Doing this challenge always seems to leave you with a ridiculous amount of money to spend after a couple of years, and if you could pump that money into the Sammarinese clubs I imagine the league could become a pretty strong one.

View attachment 393876Just had to sign up to the website and post this. Just at the end of my first season and sneaked into the play-offs before making my way through to the play off final to get into Seria B. Lost the first leg 2-1 and had a horrendous start to the second leg. What followed was magic!

this is my first post and San Marino challenge, I hope it will be successful :) just finish second season..

Season 2
Serie B: 2nd(promotion) (media prediction 22nd) lost first place two games before the last round

Most assists: Nicolo Lolli - 18

National Team

th
Win: Luxembourg (1-0 friendly)
Draw: 1-1 vs Slovenia - home ( Euro Championship Quals)

Bernardo Corradi is must buy, he is free on start...Nicolo Lolli is beast, played as right IF-A..Now, preparation for Serie A..I hope we can avoid relegation..
Best regen is Rinaldi, future captain of national team. My new HOYD is Aldo Franca, he's excellent. I signed him before second season...One of most important player is Christian Landu-Landu(275K from Viking Norway)..I rejected offer from Juventus, Inter, Roma and more others teams from Seria A for him.

Love the fact that Vivan signed for Inter, haha! Rinaldi looks really promising.

The skin you're using, any idea where I can find it?

The skin is Nicholas 14, you can find it at serbian-fm.net..
Enjoy ;)

San Marino club

Season 3
Serie A: 7th
Italian cup: final (defeat vs Roma 0-1)
Top goalscorer: Simone Magnaghi - 16
Most assists: Rodrigo Gomez - 17

National Team

World ranking: 187th
Win: 1-0 vs Lithuania away(friendly)
Draw: 0-0 vs Singapore - home ( friendly)

So, this was very successful season...We were 7th in Serie A, played final Italian Cup, beat twice the champion Juventus(one in cup qtr final)...I lost the Euro cup in last round, when I played 2-2 with Chievo and Roma 4-4 with Fiorentina, if they won we qualify for euro cup...
Best sammarinese regen is Vannucci, who can become star Serie A defensive midfielder in the future. :)
