Our 9th signing is 18 year old midfielder Harvey Bunker on loan from Forest Green. I got him off the back of an impressive performance in the Carabao Cup this season.
Applied for more jobs, in a more last ditch effort to maybe get out of a situation where a club could fall apart due to a lack of finances despite our relative over performance on the pitch.
Our 10th signing this season is 25 year old midfielder Teddy Bishop on a free transfer. He was part of the Ipswich side challenging for promotion from League One last season.
Corey Whelan the 23 year old centre back is going to leave Wigan to join Sunderland for 275k pounds. Massive, as some money is now available to sign a few good players. I like looking towards the future rather than dwelling on the fact that we are losing a key player.
Liam Donnelly the 25 year old centre back has joined Wigan from Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership for 130k pounds. Hopefully he can make a big impact. He is our 12th signing.
Our 13th signing this season. And it is another player from Motherwell. I have signed Barry Maguire, the 23 year old Scottish midfielder for 10.5k pounds.
Why am I worried about "falling apart"? It is because, just look at the state of our finances. We are barely hanging on by a thread, other good teams have bigger and superior budgets. Look at ours. The state of it. We are fighting in the league very valiantly and hoping that the club doesn't go bankrupt. That is why there is so much talk from me about leaving Wigan possibly.
