Here's more on the UAE national football team. The world ranking on the save is 74th. I will be looking to improve it as much as possible. And do something to make it possible for UAE based players to go and play European football.

Abdalla Al-Tunaiji, a 17 year old winger is the first overseas player to accept a call-up to the UAE national team. The American-Emirati player plays for the Nashville SC Academy and will be a welcome boost to the UAE setup.

Oh dear. This is rough. 25 year old centre back, Hasan Mohamed Al-Muharrami is out for 8-11 months. Talk about long term injuries. This is devastating.

This is my squad for the friendlies against Brunei and China. Saif Abdurazzaq is going to potentially get his first cap. Caio has been dropped.

Faisal Al-Matroushi is currently better than Sebastian Tagliabue so he has been picked. Also youthful enthusiasm is a factor.

Ali Mabkhout has withdrawn himself from the UAE squad. The Al-Jazira manager does not want him to play the international games. He is a very important part of the squad and we need to replace him.

I have selected Abdullah Omran as Ali Mabkhout's replacement. He has been in very good form this season. The guy is a 16 year old prodigy from Al-Wahda (UAE)

Saif Abdurazzaq, the 22 year old right back from Sharjah has made his debut for UAE. Good performance by him.

Faisal Al-Matroushi the 23 year old Al Jazira striker made his debut for UAE and scored on his debut. Also Majid Ibrahim Surour the 25 year old right back from Sharjah scored his first ever goal for UAE.
