Let's talk about Al Urooba. I feel bad, because I realize the grassroots development of football in the UAE is way off. I managed to get their only win of the season as their manager, and half the points they accumulated. It doesn't make me feel so bad now.

Squad report for Chester over this season. Kazeem Olaigbe has been impressive considering the stats, but for me as manager he has only shown glimpses of his talent. The bright spots for me is the slow development of Jacob Gratton the young striker, Billy Sass-Davies' form and Myles Judd with his crossing ability. The not so good part is, Stan Flaherty not performing to the level he is capable of, Ryan Tunnicliffe was not able to break into the side, the hot and cold form of Ramello Mitchell, Sion Spence and Harvey Davies. Also Tristan Deasy couldn't get a look in under my management.

Our first signing for the new season for Chester. Jamie Jones. He is back for a third spell under my management. First at Wigan, then Besiktas and now Chester. I hope he can be a positive influence in the dressing room.

1st game of the AFC Asian Cup 2023. I am stunned by how good Vietnam were. Unbelievable spirit shown by them to come back from 4-1 down. They played well.

OMG, That was terrifying. We were on course to get knocked out of the Asian Cup, but two stoppage time goals makes sure we are through to the next round of the Asian Cup. After that 3-0 loss against Thailand I will admit, I was extremely scared. But I am amazed that we qualified to the next round.
