Now buzzing with excitement for next update and what will happen when he retires ?

In a darkened room at the very Heart of England,6 men sat around a table as they studied video after video of a new kid on the block by the name of Charles Nizigimya.

They saw him execute a delightful of tricks before scoring another goal in the South African Youth League. His sheer pace and raw talent never left the trained eyes of the men as they observed him all over the pitch even in the game against the England U-15s.

What did he do when he had the ball, what did he do when he was off it,what were his strengths and what were his weaknesses.Which foot did he prepare, they were studying everything.

As the shutters of the windows went up,it revealed photo's,detaiils and stats of Charles Nizigimya cluttered along the desk along with every match report and character report.

'So what do you think Gentlemen?'
said the man at the head of the table

'Mr Domemenech,he seems like a player who if developed right can reach some dazzling heights'
a short wiry man by the name of Mr Rice said it and the other men around the table nodded their head in agreement

'And what about his contract, any future contract or anything of that sort'

'Not to worry Mr Domenech,he is not under any obligation,we can approach him anytime'

'What about his Family?'
asked Mr Domenech thoughtfully

'We can arrange all that sir...'

'Very well he is our next target'
and with that, the man known as Mr Domenech to the football world got up from the table and left

I got bored so I decided to post another update....

We reached the Tipton Sports Academy for the finals of the Friendly Cup against Portugal. This time there was a fair corwd of around 50 people mostly parents and others who had nothing better to do on a Sunday.

As soon as we started the game,we realised that the Portuguese were a more well-disciplined and cohesive unit than England we rarely saw the ball in their half throughout the first 45minutes.

Soon eneough they were rewarded with a goal well-taken by their midfielder from a free-kick and we trudged off the pitch as the referee signaled the end of half-time using their whistle.

'Come on Guys!I cant see any Hunger in you...I know you all want this, you have trained for this,Come on!'
said Bryan trying his best to motivate us

As we were just about to get on the pitch for the second-half,Bryan motioned for me to get closer,

'Yes Sir?'

'See those men in coats over there Charles, they are scouts who have come to watch you'

'Scouts, from which club sir?Do they look impressed?Am I performing well?'
as a babble of questions broke from my mouth

'I don't know Charles but they have been sitting there quietly, there eyes have never left you and they have been taking notes'

'Go out there and do your best son and maybe we don't have to book a seat for you on the Team Plane back'
said Bryan cheerfully

I knew what I had to do as I walked onto the pitch with a renewed sense of determination and hunger.

Great update can't wait for tomo's update. The story is going great so far I'm just wondering will he perform or not in the second half!

'Its Working' thought Bryan as he watched his team out in a more confident performance in the second half,He had decided to change to a 4-5-1 system with Charles being given a free role in the space between the lone striker and the midfidler's while he had asked his wingers to tuck in more.

Charles had certainly looked a better player in his new position and he was causing the Portugues defence all sorts of problems like he had to the England Deefence by dropping into space wherever possible and making runs behind their defence.

Now he collected the ball and as quick as lighting turned away from his marker and slid a pass to the striker who fired it past the upright by a small margin.

Charles was again proving his importance in the South-African Team by changing flanks to confuse the Portugues Defence and firing in diagonal balls andthrough balls whenever he could.

Now he took the ball and set-off on a searing run, exchanging a neat one-two with Aaron and firing it low and hard but again the goalkeeper was too good for him.Charles was certainly looking a better player in the second-half and the scouts were taking note every minute.

Despite the inspiring performance from Charles,Portugal managed a narrow 1-0 win to take home the Cup.

'Never mind boys,I am proud of each and every one of you because you fought and refused to give up'
said Bryan trying to motivate his weary troops

By the time Bryan's post-match talk had finished, the scouts had long gone.

As Charles was fooling around with his team-meates in the hotel a day before they were going back,Alan Walker the man who had discovered him in the first place and now was his agent appeared and asked to talk to him in private.

10 Minutes Later

Charles leaned against the pillar taking deep breaths and his heart thudded.

'Are you serious Alan?'

'Yes Charles,I have been on the phone for hours'

Deciding that he could not take it anymore, his face broke out in a wide smile as he and Alan huged each other.

'Charles they are offering you 100 pounds a week, you can stay with me in England as your parents are happy in South Africa'

'Thank you so much Alan,I do not know where I would have been without you, when do I have to sign the papers?'
asked Charles breathlessly

'Later on but they have faxed me a draft which you can read'

As Alan handed me the draft,I looked at the club logo on top of the draft contract and smiled again.I found myself studying every part of the logo, every letter on it.I felt like this was a dream but I kept pinching myself and I knew this was a realty.

Thanks mate,I thought my writitng would lack depth and maturity and still I am not entirly satisfied by it but all your support is encouraging thanks again

I looked up at the gleaming structure of steel from the moving car.It was a mecca for Football known throughout the world as St James Park.

Alan spotted me looking towards the stadium and said

'One Day Charles,one day'

Alan then turned the car towards the less glamorous Reserve Team Stadium where the U-13s to the Reserves all trained.

I had to get a medical done.As I was only 15,I could not offcially be under contract until I was 17 but I had already signed a future contract with Newcastle so I still had to get the medical done.

It was not too bad as I had initially feared, they took some blood and other samples.Did a check on my blood pressure, heart etc.The most exciting part was that I will be able to join the Newcastle U-17s in training tommorow and I got the famed Black and white Jersey with my name in bold Letters at the back.

I could not wait to get started!

'That Kid,he had talent'
Borell who was the youth coach at Newcastle thought

Again he saw how Charles cut-in from his wide position and lay a diagonal cross-field pass to an open Team-mate.

'The club did a good thing by picking up this lad did'nt they'
said Mike a Newcatsle coach to Borell

'So what do you reckon, could be a hidden gem?'

'We dont know Mike, most of these foreign lads find it difficult to adapt when the game gets more physical and the weather takes a toll on you too,he is doing fine with these U-16s but I'd like to see him square up against the U-18s'
said Borell out loud more to himself than anyone else

'So,where will you play him this Saturday against Cardiff?'

'I will give him a free-role,he excelled in that for South Africa I can't see why he can't do that for us'

Again Charles had the ball but this time Borell noticed that he seemed to be holding onto the ball for longer periods of time than looking for a pass.

'Pass.come on pass the ball, godamm pass it'
said Borell in a low harsh voice

Finally Charles looked up for the pass but he was too late and was tackled, hacked to the ground. If this continued,Borell might have to give the lad one of his special lessons.
