After a disappointing start to their campaign, Italy have hit right back at the critics by beating both Denmark and Portugal to go top of their group in the European League Division A and give themselves a huge chance of making it through to the second round. Their best achievement in those two games though was definitely their comeback victory against Portugal with Christian Belleri impressing for one of his first appearances for Italy under Francesco Totti. The latter was under quite a lot of pressure from the Italian FA following some disappointing performances but those two results have definitely secured his place as Italy manager for at least the next couple of months now. The Italian man will now have to travel back to Germany to manage Schalke for their next games against Wolfsburg and Dortmund in the Bundesliga and Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League.
