Well you'll get to see him Wednesday against Exeter if nottin' else.

Whether you'll get to see any goals the other end is another thing again. Created more chances under Klopp than any other side in the league. Which is a fruitless exercise when we can't score for ****.

Ward is ineligible for the Exeter match. You have to have been eligible to play the original tie to be able to play the replay. Also can't see him starting vs. Stoke unless Mig has a couple poor performances. So we'll probably see him play in the next round of the FA Cup if we make it through.

If it makes you feel any better, we dominated Liverpool at anfield last season...

Just taking heart that surely over a year and a half into the job and £200 plus million spent, Klopp can't of built a side as bad as what Van Gaal has at yours?

if he does he needs a slap

Congratulations on the win today mate. The overall game may not of had you deserving it at all. But we can't score for **** or properly defend a corner. You did. You get what you deserve when you're so profligate.

But longer term just how bang average are both clubs at the minute? We're just starting out and this is his first window so we have that. But Van Gaal's blown all that and built nothing like a challenging calibre side. It's gonna' take WAY more than a change of coach to get you back to anything like.

City must be ******* themselves being the only club up here set for any sort of major success any time soon.

And having just seen the goal outside of seeing it live for the first time, I can't blame Mingolet for that.

It was **** poor defending. FOUR men stood around Felaini after Mata wasn't closed down quick enough. Lucas being one after he drifted off Rooney, thus leaving him free for the rebound. No way could Mingolet of got to Ronney in the split second it came back off the bar and he webbed it back in.

Mingolet's a frigging **** but that was on the **** poor defending in front of him.

There is not an error from Mignolet here - People are now looking to blame him for any goal that we concede. Schmeichal was making this point in the build-up and whilst he was defending him a little too much, that point is spot on.

Although, I do still think had De Gea been in that situation he would have stopped the effort from Rooney going in, but that's not a criticism as DDG is a world-class GK

Completely agree. I wasn't sure as it happened so quick and it was the other end of the ground when I read people slamming him so wanted to see it on the highlights.

Again, if anyone wants to blame anyone, blame the **** poor defending, from a corner, AGAIN, in front of him.

Why would Klopp need to spend at all? He has a world-class side that Brendan Rodgers build spending £300 million, surely that should be enough to run with the league.

De Gea would have calmly caught Rooney's shot and said "lol"

But why should Klopp spend more than 200 Million? Liverpool squad is built by spending more than 200 Million already. Reason why Van Gaal did was to replace all the players after Moyes debacle. Only 6 players survived from Fergie era.

For Liverpool, most the first team is already set. These excuses are becoming even lamer with each passing week. Leicester hardly spent money but Tinker man took them from relegation dog fight to top of the table. You don't have to spend always.

Liverpool team have few weaknesses but everytime people use "These are not Klopp players", it's just laughable. IIRC 8/11 players in Leicester team are not Tinker man' either. They are same from last season but no one uses the same excuses.

Also most of the players in Dortmund team are not Tuchel's either but no one uses that excuse.

Genuine excuse is Klopp took over mid season and didn't have preseason to train his players. 19 points from 14 games is just poor and whatever are the excuses. He is getting easy ride because people were so much frustrated with Rodgers like Van Gaal got easy ride because of Moyes.

A change of coach would tho.

Firstly, lvg can't get the best outta his attacking players. Secondly, he doesn't even know his best starting XI. Even with all the injuries, I'd know better than to put fellaini in a double midfield pivot. He offers next to nothing. He's got zero vision, zero ball retention and a defensive liability. Thats why we couldnt hold the ball for ****. All he offers is just aerial ability.

That being said, I did sense a bit of butthurt in your comment but you need to realize that you can't judge the shape of what lvg has built with just this game. We have lots of key injuries here and there. I think he's done a fine job with rebuilding but he can't get the best outta what he's built. He's taken us as far as he can.

To liverpool, liverpool will be back in a year or 2 under klopp with more players in. Hopefully the good old united-liverpool rivalry comes back to life.

I wasn't. I felt the summer regardless of Van Gaal, your squad was the most realistic to look at replacing the top 4 for us. (Obviously never envisioned Chelsea collapsing.). Seen nothing to change that.

But hey, what would I know. Redoing up apparently most of our first XI is set and being as the previous manager spent big everything should be good as this is nothing like the rebuild Van Gaal had on his hands so yer know. Shrugs.

Glad this ended up early and agreed with bold part.

[useless excuse]250 Million pounds spent on players in 2 years but hey our new manager didn't spend them. So players are useless[/useless excuse].

If only every club worked like this.

Yay. What works for Van Gaal doesn't work for Klopp.

This is a most interesting exercise. Learning a lot ta.

26 years of management changed, club structure changing completely for the first time in years Vs club that changes manager every other season. Yeah, what works for Van Gaal doesn't for Klopp.
