Ohhh, can I start flip flopping to keep with a point that was never there to start with?

Not my problem if you can't see it.
Dude, there's notin' to see. You've an opinion. Nothing more. Nothing less. No problem there, everyone's entitled to them. But it doesn't make it some sort of 'fact.'
The opposite opinion is we have nowhere near a quality squad, regardless of what's been spent; and yet again we're mired at the start of a rebuild. (Which, please God, will finally be done right this time or we are well and truly ******.)We have maybe half a first team (if fit) you'd want to work with going forward. Klopp's not getting a pass because Rodgers was so bad. He and we know results have to improve. He's getting a pass for a multitude of reasons. As you mentioned, he's had no pre-season. He's been on the job 4 months. These aren't his players. (Just like at Utd they weren't Van Gaal's and just as big a mess s Van Gaal walked into.). And he's had and is still dealing with a horrendous injury list that has robbed him of the main quality that is in the squad. And within that, there's still been more than enough signs, just like yesterday, to suggest when he does get better players in he'll have this team flying. People are frustrated wth the situation more than annoyed but we see the light at the end of the tunnel with the top class manager we have in place over time.
Nobody's making any 'excuse' for anything that's not there.
..... I don't get this "These are not his players" excuse. Like I said, clubs that change managers often can't use that excuse. I gave examples too to back my point and those are just from 2015-16 season....
I think the most worrying thing if I was a Liverpool fan right now is realising you have a manager like Klopp but are still signing players like Caulker (albeit on loan) and according to the Mirror you've bid £8m for Shane Long.
I mean surely if you're going to get anywhere under Klopp you have to start targeting a higher bracket of player? No one is going to start miraculously turning around Liverpool's fortune with players like Caulker and Long.
I thought under Klopp it would be a chance to really establish yourself and with his reputation get some players of a higher level in. But if you end up with mediocrity again like under Rodgers you're really no further forward.

Lets not go overboard, it's the January window... Was this to happen in the summer then there would be a genuine case to worry
As of now it looks as if targets are not available so Klopp is targeting players to suit a system or to improve weaknesses. In Caulker's case it was defensive cover due to injuries and to add an aerial presence and Long is the energetic, pacey striker Klopp seems to want - again he is looking because 3 of our 4 strikers are injured
I would not be so sure in that. First time it seemed like why he didint took it. But from replay the slide he made when the ball hit the post was moment he could not get back up so fast and react to strong hit. No blame to Mignolet here.
The time Rooney took to take the ball down and shoot was more than enough for a GK to stand back up after falling down to one knee.
Oh come on now. You know how I feel about Simon Flapalot, but that goal wasn't on him. Yes, De Gea did get back up, but he only had a floater to defend. Mignolet had a point-blank power volley. No goalkeeper in the world would have saved that. The only person in history who could possibly, maaaaaybe, pull it off is peak Casillas, with his monkey-like agility and superhuman reflexes.
You won't see anything now to change your opinion obviously. Remember van Gaal's rebuild is for the future.I wasn't. I felt the summer regardless of Van Gaal, your squad was the most realistic to look at replacing the top 4 for us. (Obviously never envisioned Chelsea collapsing.). Seen nothing to change that.
But hey, what would I know. Redoing up apparently most of our first XI is set and being as the previous manager spent big everything should be good as this is nothing like the rebuild Van Gaal had on his hands so yer know. Shrugs.

Let's just get our injuries back first of all.
