The last time Liverpool won the league Marcus Rashford's dad was 10 years old.

Fantastic to come back today - incredible that it's the first time we have ever won a Premier League game when getting a red card when losing.

Contact on Benteke, wouldn't have been enough to make him go down but contact none the less and most strikers would have done the same. It's not clear cut either way.

But to be honest, I couldn't care less at this moment... Form table last 6 games sees Liverpool top!

Not just the in the PL era but possibly ever reading above. Which is staggering when you think on it. 124 seasons worth of football.

Who the F is Mike Parry? Some excessively bitter blue on Talk Sport from what I can gather. His twitter comments from yesterday are beyond epic:
The worst act of simulation in the history of football ... criminal ...

There should be life-bans for players who cheat like that ... just a corruption of football's rules ...

There was NO contact ... I stress NO contact between the two players ... LFC hang your head in shame ...

Liverpool FC is one of the world's great football clubs ...5 Euros; Dalglish, Rush ... they shouldn't have to cheat like they did today ...

He make's Pardew's hissy fit look almost reasonable.

Been our best centre half for me under Klopp. That video of yesterday just encapsulates the change from Lovren under Rodgers to Lovren under Klopp. Under Rodgers, he was asked to play out from the back. Which none of our centre half's are comfortable at. Let alone Lovren. And that lead to him putting the team in trouble more often than not. Now, he's just being asked to do what his job is. Defend. And he's doing it fantastically well as that vid shows. All you want from your centre half is someone who's dominant in the air and in the tackle/ positionally and just clears his lines or gives it to someone that can play. You get a Hyppia that can play brilliant. You have the all round package. But give me a solid defender who just defends and that's more than good enough. And that's what Lovren's remit now is without the added, unnecessary burden of being asked to play out from the back. And it's improved his game markedly. He's not had a jaw dropping glaring mistake filled game since West Ham early this season which speaks volumes for his turnaround as you'd of had him as a definite to leave when Klopp took over.

Now, he's a very reliable depth player at worse going forward.

Yet still he's the first to get jumped on by some of our support whilst the likes of Sakho, who's been horrible at times, carry this cult status. People need to let the pre-Klopp Lovren go and relish the turnaround into the solid centre half he's now become.

Yeah he looks better under Klopp. Also I was one of the "Can isn't ready for the first team" but he looks very good in the last games.

Yup, guilty here too on that. I would of had Can out of the first XI Christmas. We knew he had the talent, but the amount of braindead decisions he was making on the park was getting real costly.

But it seems the managers had a serious word with him as the last month or so he's been WAY more disciplined in his role and not making half the mistakes he was.
