So singing 'Oh Manchester is full of ****' get's you a UEFA charge for illicit chanting but constantly singing about death doesn't.

And THAT'S the governing body of the European game. Absolute joke.

Rumours we've been monitoring it for months so would make sense... But with Pep and the money on offer it will be hard to challenge City

Maybe. I had just read those rumours as a-typical lazy journalism TBH, i.e. Link Klopp with every Dortmund player going because that's what he'll want. Dortmund MK2. *Rolls eyes.

If he actually does it, he'll surely go down as one of the most colossal wastes of talent in recent years. Players like Ravel Morrison have nothing on that, we're talking proper Cassano levels of idiocy.

I always said his talent is overrated and I still stand by it. He is nothing special talent at all, not even close to Cassano. He had a beasty shot from distance and that's it.

To be fair, everywhere he has been coaches, managers and players that have worked with him have said he could be awesome. He just....isn't!

I agree with what you're saying though, he very rarely shows it.

He could probably be a really good striker for a mid table club where he starts every game and is the focal point. Just not good enough to a be a star striker for a massive club, which is what he thinks he is

Sometimes you have to take what coaches say with pinch of salt. I mean we had SAF who said Dong was next Batigol and Jones could be best ever United player.

Balotelli was physical beast from very young age, so obviously he was ready for youth tournaments. Even when he made Inter debut he looked very good for 17-18 year old because he was physically very much developed. But when you see his game, apart from shooting from distance, I don't see any attribute that makes him special.

He runs like there is something stuck in his ****, **** poor work rate, average finishing and for a player of his physical size he rarely uses it to his advantage.

He has beast of a shot though.

It's frustrating because Balotelli/Italy at the Euros looked a top, top player. There were times for City when he also looked a very good player.

I dont think his talent is overrated, it's just his desire and application is embarrassing

He was great against Germany and that's it.

He was average is almost all games till that point and he scored 2 goals against Germany. Funny how that game changed the whole perception about his overall tournament.

He was subbed out in almost all games and apart from Germany he scored goal against Ireland.

Either way, We'll be rubbing our hands together if a move to some Chinese club materialises.

Yeah, China is new hope for all the clubs to flog their deadwood.

Should get more than decent money for any player.

He was physically potent, with excellent technical skills, a lot of flair and not a half bad eye for a pass. He had all the tools to be absolutely brilliant, the only thing he was missing was the maturity on and off the pitch, which is something that is supposed to come with age.

Yup. World class talent. World class bonehead.

When Mario wants to play, he's unplayable. Up there for a comparison with Drogba. But the problem is and always will be his lax attitude. I really believes he likes football, and cares in his own way. But he doesn't LOVE it enough to really push himself and be the best. WAY too laid back for that sadly.

A real frustrating waste of natural, God given talent.

I disagree with almost everything. Physically he was strong but didn't know how to use it to his advantage. Always goes down for slightest of contact. His technical skills were not elite level either. It was good, just like there are many players with good first touch. His dribbling ability is average. (For ex, take Dybala, his technical skills are excellent, Cassano's technical ability was excellent)

His stand out attribute was shooting from distance.

Like I said, people cite his performance in Euro 2012 to support their argument when he was average in all games except against Germany.

When ManUtd played Inter in 2009, there was lot of hype about him. All he did was fouling Ronaldo and act like a kid. There wasn't anything special about him and selling him is the only decent bit of business done by Inter in last 5-6 years.
