As fans, I'm sure most would. It's what excites you. And even more so as L'pool fans when you've had the same tried and failed formula year after year. I totally get that and understand the envious looks elsewhere.

That said, personally speaking, I'm not bothered in the slightest with the likes of Grujic under this fella' because of his track record. I would be were this happening again under Rodgers. But we now have one of the best coaches in World football for finding the perfect fit for what he does and developing them into top bracket players. And if there's someone along the lines of Texiera, Mane or even more so Gotze who's already top bracket and fits all he requires, brilliant. He'll go for them too and pay the money.

We made our biggest World class signing last October when we hired the crazy German. And everything's related for me to letting go of all that's gone before and just trusting him to build this right with players that tick all the boxes for ourselves.

We're already a lot stronger than we where last year in some key areas, with someone like Mane hopefully making players like Coutinho and Firmino even better by the space he'll open up for them. And two of those players where highly sought by two other massive clubs in Munich and Utd the past year. So we're not doing bad at all in comparison IMO.

Still 2 months of the window to go. Let's see where we stand come August 8th at Arsenal.

Just hope we're not looking at being a £20 million plus defender down for a lengthy period of time when UEFA have finished with Sakho today.
 
Ibe, Sterling and Shelvey cost Liverpool an initial £3 million. Liverpool sold the three of them for around £75 million.

If Ibe is actually sold

If we're talking transfer fees, Ibe is less than a third of the player Sterling is.

...and half an Andy Carroll.

No offense Scouse but this sort of boundless optimisim of Klopp has descended very far into hero-worshipping and its starting to annoy me a little bit.

Now I am sure this sort of thing goes down very well in RAWK which is fine as its a forum for LFC fans who will generally put a positive spin on anything the club does just like any other set of fans. But we are in a forum with fans from multiple teams where some nuance and scope for discussion would be much appreciated.

It seems like every time I come on here its always 'we bought or are interested in player X, never heard of him but I believe in the crazy German and no one should question him'. Klopp is no Jesus. He has his flaws and I am sure not every transfer he made has been an unqualified success.

All I am saying is that lets have some balance here alright? Its okay to paint things in positive light in your club thread but you are going to an extreme which almost makes this thread look like its in RAWK.

I don't even think RAWK's allows registrations these days. I know it disabled it a while back..
