do you work for your self with you going to all these away games and having days off at a time and you cant have a wife or kids or do you rob banks in your spare time lol

Porto’s cheap as chips lid. Just a ballache to get to with most everything from down South.

Why I was quite happy the other week both Tottenham and Utd got through. An English tie would have been masively welcome from both a financial and holiday standpoint. So Utd the semi would do me down the ground.

City vs Juventus
Barca vs Pool

Cant ask better semis, all top teams from their league

Well arguably the clear top 4 teams in Europe.

Uefa couldn’t ask for a better end to their marquee competiton if it plays out as expected.

Yeah, United-Liverpool final played on foreign soil and in Madrid of all places sounds like recipe for a tragedy. Fans will be on edge and so will Spanish police who will most likely classify it as high risk event and plan accordingly.

I remember when United played Legia in Cup Winners Cup, right after the Heysel ban expiredr. TV was showing cops in Warsaw basically preparing for war. Attack dogs, water cannons, tear gas launchers, the whole package. Not a fun picture.

I just wanted to avoid United whoever won the tie wouldve had bragging rights for yonks.

Still buzzing off that superb secomd half in particular Wednesday.

Always amuses you when dickheads like Shearer sit pontificating on MOTD and the like saying L’pool are at their best when it’s manic chaos, mad pressing, and rapid attacking. Totally and utterly ignoring the evolution of this team into a proper elite one that can now go to one of the hardest places in Europe to win, against a fellow member of UEFA’s establishmemt, and do that to Bayern. Last season was one of my all time favourites to experience with the breathtaking high’s they gave us. But this is a FAR better all round team this year with far better all round, mature, really smart (football inteligence/ tactical wise) footballers the more they’ve worked on it and evolved.

To be so secure, calm and controlling the Allianz, whilst still being devestating going forward at the right times ..... that second half was one of the best halves we’ve had under Klopp. Which is saying something all the excitement and stupendous memories hes left us with. This is now a proper, mature, football team. Which is what this team has evolved into and what he wanted all along. But that development process takes time, paitience and a lot of repetitive hard work. And is ****** hard to learn and get down as a lot of new signings have found and why they can’t be rushed. But patience is a virtue as we’ve seen with the likes of Andy Robbo, Oxo-Chambo and Fabinho so the need for instant hits, regardless of the price, just isn’t there.

Honestly, in nigh on 40 years going the match, I’ve never seen as controlling and dominant a group of Reds as this. Rock solid defensively. Not that the pressure often gets that far given the tireless work in the middle. Who can still hit you to devastating effect the other end of the pitch. With a tactical fluidity through games with the interchanging and movement we must be an absolute nightmare to plan for. Only 2 other sides in our history have had this many points through 30 games which is just testiment to how great a group Klopp’s developed here.

A proper elite footballing side once again that can beat you any which way. And one that you know, unlike
‘08/‘09 or ‘13/‘14, has been paitiently built the right way to have sustainable success and be seriously challenging the business end of the PL and Europe for many years to come.

Can’t see anything other than ouselves and City have a personal battle for the league over the next few years and the back end of Europe. So far ahead of everyone else in England are both sides.

For some reason I can’t upload the photie of a banner the Bayern end Wednesday.

They’ll get F by UEFA like but Germans know:

’MODERN FOOTBALL KILLS EMOTIONS. **** UEFA! **** VAR!’

Is rite lads.

Might sack Porto off. Heads conpletely kettled over this one. Porto’s never the easiest place to get to anyway but with it being Easter week prices are sky high from most every destination that flys there. And Lisbon’s not much better.

At best I think I’ll just save the holidays and do the day trip. But I’m wavering on giving it a miss. As much as its one of my favourite Citys in the World been enough times already haha. (Seen us everytime we’ve played there and stopped Porto for the Celta Viga and Braga games.).

Plus in all likelehood we’ll be in Barcelona 2 weeks after anyway so saving things for that would be handy.

You wait for 4 years for the return of the best away in the Country bar none. And then get stuck the other end of the Country missing the game! HUMPH!!!!!

First of what will be a couple of games advantage on City. Let’s see how they cope chasing through the last 5 games of this epic race!

Into this shower of ***** Redmen on the next step to the double.

Of course the one benefit of missing means I get to keep up with this dinners Youth Cup semi as the 18’s continue their assault on a league and cup double.

Would that be a double double- Quadruple?

Up the Red record Breakers!

Thank god for Sergio Rico we legit couldnt afford to drop points to ****** Fulham.

Super Sunday.

18’s into the FA Youth Cup Final.

Kloppo’s Reds dog out another massive win. Which is ALL that matters in a run-in.

And those 3 points surpassed last seasons total. And our total points haul in 23 out of 27 PL seasons. In SEVEN fewer games. Alomg with being our second highest ever points tally in a 38 game season.

How could you not be absolutely bouncing right now if you’re a Red? What a time to be alive. What a time to be a Liverpudlian.

12 more.

LTOTL.

Up the Pool. Mighty Reds!

How is that Fulham goalkeeper still their no.1 gifting another goal to whichever team they are playing on that day. Full credit to Liverpool for taking advantage of their good fortune.

You see babels face Scouse? Didnt want to score that goal at all.

Never sits well with me that. Footballers not celebrating goals. What the games all about.

If you can’t be passionate and celebrate when you score, when can you be? Not your fault you left or if its against a former club.

I’d rather players clebrated with emotion and passion. Totally weird to me when they don’t just to be respectful. Shrugs.

Its a bit different under certain circumstances though. Bit much to say its weird and you don't understand it.
