Deserved after they got a goal from a bs freekick. Kane really is good at falling to the floor when there is no contact. Hopefully that goal or o.g gives Salah hes confidence in front of goal.

Klopp got his midfield wrong.

I cant believe Fabinho didn't start this game.

Thanks Spurs for being you and bottling it. Now you Pool can follow suit ;)

On the plus side lid now you’ve gone set yourselfs back a few years with Solksjaer you’ll have nottin to worry about the very top end the table for a few years.

What was it? 16 points behind L’pool when he took over. Only the 18 now. #turnaround ;)

Mate, seriously. We win a monster game like that, in that manner, and you want to nark over the line-up?

THATS why you do it. Mad celebrations like that. Sure I had three heart attacks among the arms and legs in mad ecstasy. First the Origi derby, now that. NO better way to win a game of football.

Said after the brilliantly important points Utd and Everton, our hardest two left, we’ll win out the last 9. Thats 3 down, 6 to go. City win out too, fair F’s to them. But thats what they’ll have to do as these Reds are going the distance.

Great game of football. Absolutely superb win. Again.

Up the F Reds’

’LIB’POOL, TOP THE LEAGUE. LIB’POOL, LIB’POOL TOP THE LEAGUE!’

Bring on next season ;)

How can anyone say either City or LFC bottled the title after the numbers both teams will post this season.

Tbh I thought for what it's worth Klopp very nearly got it totally wrong, Spurs missed glaring chances second half, but will Liverpool fans give a ****? No because they got a win and at this stage that's pretty much all that matters.

It does kind of seem set in stone for Liverpool though, with the Lloris and Pickford howlers both in last minute practically of game. 6 points instead of 2 potentially. Take your luck as it comes, so fair play to them.

Get the three points I dont care how we do it. Also what a captains performance by Hendo came on and the urgency and tempo went up instantly. Got himself a good goal and a lovely assist for his efforts.

Just like that greedy Egyptian ****. Get him out the side!

And as for that useless African ***** we wasted £53 million on .....

Made up for all three of them. Have that yers social media gobshites yer!

Answer that, AGAIN! , City yer plazzi twats yer!

Superb mate.

10 more.

LTOTL, LLTOTL!

Up the magnificent Reds!

City's fixture list is **** awful you have to slightly feel for them although I'd trade positions to be within a chance of winning three trophies.

City's fixture list is **** awful you have to slightly feel for them .....

Compeating against the most expensively assembled squad in history, from a club that refuses to play on a level financial playing field to attain that and get that depth ..... My heart proper bleeds for them.

Did this gobshite really play for this football club?

The European Cup's r competition the F blert and we're all in it to win both! Telling yer, convinced he's more blue than red.

Fully expecting L'pool to come through this tie but it'll doubtless be a lot tighter than many are expecting. There are NO mugs at this stage and after the way we walloped Porto last year, they'll come to completely shut the game down and make sure the ties still alive for the return a week tomorrow.

Which will happen more and more the more dominant and successful we become. Top sides like Munich coming with one intention alone. Not to get a serious doing and keeping the tie alive for the second-leg. Too many folk appear to have gotten swayed by last year's run to Kiev and think we should be blitzing everyone. As awesomely brilliant as that was, that's an anomaly to the norm in straight, two-legged knock-out European football. Which are invariably tight, cagey affairs.

Be more than happy personally to take a 0-0 out to Porto. Not conceding at home has and always will be the most important thing in two-legged, straight knock-out European football.

That said, if both L'pool and Barca can wrap up the ties this week that would be greatly appreciated to get a jump on semi flights. ;)

Up the European Cup OWNING Reds!

What a ridiculus statement from Caraghher. No manager in the world would rest players in a CL semi-final. Christ, forget manager, I think the squad wouldn't put up with it in a first place.
