#FreeLewandowski

Either ******* invest in the squad or let the guy go. He's wasting his career being surrounded by this mediocrity.

He should leave imo. But I think his all round game has dropped a bit. Still a top ST though. **** what a mess Bayern are!

Feckin ell it was a good score. But Philo on SSN making out like Pool were playing like prime Barca beating a prime Bayern of 2/3 yrs ago.

4 teams in the last 8 happy days!

He added quite a bit of muscle this season. I'm guessing he's trying to mimic Ronaldo and adapt to loss of pace by playing more centrally without as much involvment in the buildup. The difference being that Ronaldo's teammates had Atletico boxed in for 90 minutes, while Bayern couldn't even leave their own half.

Forget how good we are my god Bayern were terrible. I knew we would go through but didn't expect Bayern to play at a pedestrian pace even after being gifted an own goal. James Rodrigues was terrible once again another for one of the most overrated players in world football.

Liverpool are a good side. But you weren’t nowhere near your best tonight. Such a low quality match. Only seen James have about 5 good games since 2014! Just goes to show what a poor league the Bundesligue is atm. Dortmund should really be winning that league this year.

Hes been turfed out of Madrid as Zidane hated his whining and Bayern reportedly don't want him anymore, terrible attitude at two clubs now. It was a professional performance from us never had to really go for it didnt need to once we got the away goal. Only negative of the night is Robbos yellow card meaning Milner will probably be shifted to left-back.

My mate put £25 in Liverpool to win 3-1 and Mane to score first. Bet he enjoyed the game even more tonight!

Liverpool were average tonight by their standards. And yet were comfortably Miles above Bayern, who were an absolute joke. Bottled it almost as hard as PSG did

I don't think it was that big of a strategic change from Klopp in the 2nd half. We pushed higher up and pressed higher yes but you would think Bayern needing a goal would up the tempo but they were so pedestrian and once the 2nd goal went in for us it was game over. Even Hummels goes it knocked their belief if that. You mean a total mental collapse more like.

Yeah, they have quite simply shat themselves. There's just no other way to describe it. 1st half they still managed to keep their game face on. During the break they fell apart.

It's quite shocking really when you think that just few years ago a lot of these players were attacking Barca with absolute fury for 90 minutes despite going 3-0 in the first leg.

Euro aways don’t get much better than that.

Absolutely superb, controlling, dominant display against another one of Europes super clubs. In their own magnificent back yard. We’ve had many super special nights over the years in our European playground but last night ranks right up there with any of them. Bayern might be an ageing side at the end of their cycle, but this is still Bayern Munich. The best side in Germany and one who’s been to 6 straight CL semi-finals. To go to Munich and do that to them ..... another SERIOUS message sent across the Continent from Klopps L’pool who are fast reestablished as one of the elite sides across Europe. The continued evolution of this team into such a savvy, controlling, dominant one thats rock solid at the back, tireless in midfield, and devestating in attack ..... elite is the word. By far the most complete team display over both legs this round that will leave NO side wanting to pull this gang of special Reds.

Brilliant trip. But then its Germany. How could it not be? Boss scran and ale. Super friendly people. Just an all round brilliamt Country. Topped off with another of Europes premier grounds ticked off the bucket list. And SO refreshing to be able to mix freely with the opposition with no hint of any problems. Where you can madly walk freely into the home section to get a proper bevvy with no hassle. Finished off with the massive bonus of no 1/2 hour lock-in with a mutual respect and friendship the train back into town and long into last night with a great bevvy and mutual sing song.

Brilliant Bavaria made by the brilliant Reds. And now a current, lazy train ride to a wet Stuttgart for the afternoon before this evenings flight home.

Euro aways don’t get much better than that!

Roll on Fridays draw and the next step to #6.

Up the European Royalty Reds.

Apparently the biggest application for tickets Bayern have ever had too. Some 60,000 more than the semi against Madrid.

Not many bigger draws across Europe than the Reds.

Come on Scouse Bayern were dogshit! You didn’t have to get out of second gear. This Bayern team is good at best. Nowhere near the side 2/3 yrs ago. Think any team remaining would of beat them. Tbh if you was really on it and flying you would of battered them.

We did batter them. 3. In their own back yard.

It’s irrelevant how Bayern currently are. Its Bayern Munich. In Munich.

Not many times that happens to them there. Superb display.

TD is right, some Championship sides could have given you more trouble than Bayern last night. They could barely string 2-3 passes together.

I’ll take the unbiased, widespread media praise on what was an outstanding European away display at one of Europes great clubs.

Bayern Munich is still Bayern Munich regardless of their current state. And they rarely get a comprehensive home doing like that in Europe.

One of the best in L’pool’s storied history. However you cut it.

Much as I love all 4 English teams going through, bayern were ****, and not because Liverpool made them ****. They were just terrible. Utterly terrible

Yeah, couldn't understand it. They need a big overhaul.

We are now the only side anywhere to win at the 4 European bigies. The Bernabau, Nou Camp, San Siro and Allianz.

Mighty Reds.
