Liverpool reach agreement with Bournemouth to sign Milos Kerkez. Deal for 21yo left-back worth around £40m + now on to documentation stage. Hungary international expected to undergo medical next week & join #LFC from #AFCB on 5yr contract @TheAthleticFC

Best PL signing EVER!

Seriously. I’ll happily die on that hill. People don’t realise just what we’ve done here,

That’s the league retained right there. He’s THAT special a difference maker.

Just the PL Champions doing what the PL Champions now do. And they ain’t stopping there. I firmly believe we’ll beat this transfer record before the window shuts.

For all the Twitter virgins out there-

FSG & RICHARD HUGHES APOLOGY FORM

To: FSG and Richard Hughes
Date: _________

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologise for my comments over the last few years.

The reason for my behavior: (Tick all boxes that apply)

☐ I'm just a basic copy and paste merchant, fumbling around in an echo chamber.
☐ I have an agenda which blinded me to obvious truths.
☐ I'm entitled, reactionary and can't see beyond the end of my own nose.
☐ Deep down, I'm just jealous of these highly competent individuals.
☐ Too much time on social media and the internet has turned my brain into scrambled egg.
☐ My obsession with net spend, yachts and 'ambition' meant I lost the capacity for critical thinking.

Please forgive me.

Yours humbly,

Super fee. Sweetened even further with the buy-back clause.

Guehi or Hato instantly upgrade for the here and now, for little difference in price. But I do really like Quansahs long term development prospects playing regular top flight and CL football. And seemingly Liverpool do too with what could well be a buy-back that’s actually used. Lad has all the traits we look for in a CH. Quick. Strong the air. Composed on the ball. Just needs experience to get the one thing young CH’s find so hard and only get with regular game time. Consistency.

Excellent deal for all concerned. Nice relationship we are building with Leverkusen here.

Next!

Yeah always a smart move for a young player moving. We’ve done the same since Wilcox, Berrada, Vivell have been in charge of transfers.

Back after a long time. What an exciting time to be a Reds. Need the cb and striker and we are sorted for this season. Very rare for us to spend big and we are in a position of strength so now is the time. YNWA

The buy back clause for Jarell Quansah deal exclusively revealed last week will be worth over €60m.

It won’t be available in 2026, only from 2027 as agreed between Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen. The initial fee will be £30m plus £5m add-ons.

AndyRobbo MKII. Interesting to read him say he can play left CH. Never knew that. Versatility is always welcome.

Although to be fair, he has BIG Istvan Kozma (Second only to Puskas in Scouse/ Hungarian lore) shoes to fill !!!!!

Those are the standards I am holding him to. On his head be it if he falls below the blonde wonders legendary Chesterfield outing!

We are set to sign Freddie Woodman on a free transfer
🤝

Taining 'keeper.

Nice work if you can get it. 😛

Joking aside, Woodman's one of the better Championship goalies. A very savvy, very experienced, solid pickup who both aids the homegrown slot for UEFA competition. Something Pecsi doesn't. And adds experienced depth and a real solid, first-team training goalie into the mix. Which, whilst naturally overlooked, can never be understated. Not least when players are away on International duty.

But I shall be really interested to watch the highly rated Pecsi's development and see who, between he and Woodman, is the back-up to Mamardashvili for domestic cup games?

Significant reshuffle of the goalkeeping department and it will be one to keep an eye on when the squad reconvenes for pre-season early next month. As I type, I wouldn't like to say who our number three goalie is. 🤷‍♂️

Congrats to Harvey, Jarell, Tyler and their English compadres winning the U21 Euros.

That should net us over £50 million for Elliott with him being joint top scorer with 6 goals/ player of the tournament. £40 - 50 M with a buy-back. Belter finish the final. And we’ll have £15-20 million for Tyler too ta. Great cross for the winner.

Excellent final to conclude an excellent 2 and a half weeks football.

Really fun, high quality tournament that to watch.

Honestly im still rather gutted it looks like we are selling Harv. He is the Gerrard/Trent for me. A southern lad who got to play for his boyhood club. If he does go with a buyback, im hoping he proves every bit as worth for us to trigger that one day
