Hmmm. Think it's a wind-up tbh - they did one the other year for Donovan. Think of it as a Rawk sanity check for the numpties who think Liverpool should be signing 11 new players at 30m each.

Might as well start believing the mirror ;) No official word on his future, would be a welcome signing though, lets hope there is some truth in it
 
Bids have gone in for Mata and Jordan Henderson (him off the Sunderland).
 
I've heard all day that LFC have had a bid accepted for Henderson but won't discuss terms until after the U21 Championships..

Mata bid was between £14-15M afaik
 
Mata bid is low, because it seems he'd love to join Liverpool, so we're taking the 'Suarez approach' by starting low. Apparently only wanting 20 Euroes which would be insane.

Don't really believe the Henderson talk, seems it all stemmed from a Sunderland fans tweet...

In the end Suarez still gone at 20+mil.... exactly what Ajax wanted.
 
Apparently the competition for Mata is AC Milan/Inter/Juve, if that's it I'd be very shocked, but wouldn't complain!

No idea if it's been accepted or not (that's come from a Sunderland fan) - only thing being 'confirmed' our end is that a bid's been made. Mata is priced at 18m Euros, we've offered 17m.

We got Suarez for 22.5mil. Thought Ajax wanted 25mil from the start.
 
Yeah considering the fact it will be quite hard for us to get the player if a bidding war do occurs.
