Agger didn't play yesterday. Sakho and Skrtel played.

Also Serling, Coutinho, Gerrard, Henderson, Allen played in the midfield. So Lallana or Markovic for Coutinho? The players who aren't signed can't be counted isn't it.

The point I was making was that I replied to someone saying we have brought too many OK players yet only only one new player started last night

Lovren, Lallana, Moreno (when he signs) will be key players with Sturridge returning and the likes of Markovic, Can and any other signings completing the squad

He is - but against the bigger sides with the defence that was played last night I wouldn't be at all confident

Defense also depends on the system. For example Netherlands were excellent in the world cup and hardly any world class player in their defense.

We have proved defensively very good in the preseason. Cahill who looked out of sorts at Chelsea looked very good when Jose took over. System is also very important.

I can give you photo of Mikel in Uniteds shirt, smiling. Although I doubt they wont sign if they are that close indeed, still they are not part of your team and it's ridiculous to include them in missing players for United game.

Tbf, we've only agreed a fee.

I would imagine Pep would use his relationship with Reina to get him to a lower wage. Either way, it saves us £100k a week!

Hopefully now we can try and sign a great player or two. A back up goalie on a cheap wage, with a lot to prove, and a world class striker/inside forward.
