Reports in Italy (?) claim Liverpool and Man City are trying to sign Falcao and Liverpool are nearing a deal..

The funny thing is Falcao leaving on loan seems very likely (no idea why) but even if there was the slightest of possibilities his wage demands would be extortionate. Something only Madrid and City could afford

Also seen it in the Express. Of course, it could just be tabloid speculation, and I don't necessarily believe the full Mirror story, but I do find it believable that Agger isn't happy at the moment due to the addition of Lovren.

Out of curiosity, where do Liverpool fans rate Flanagan in their pecking order for full-backs right now?

My guess is it's:

RB - Manquillo (Johnson)
LB - Enrique (Flanagan)

Why sign Manquillo when Flanagan proved last season he's good enough? Just querying...

Johnson is in his last year of his contract and also is one of our highest wage earners - As things stand:

RB - Manquillo (Flanagan) - but it depends how Manquillo adapts
LB - New LB (Enrique) - That new LB seems to be Moreno from Sevilla

So you think Johnson will be sold?
 
love for Johnson to be sold, but he won't be. Therefore it's Flanno at RB, and Moreno at left back I'd imagine.
 
Tony B said we inquired, but won't move because he's destined for Madrid, and he's on 250k p/w.

Bit of a lack of great strikers right now. Depressing we're a week and half off the season and we're still looking for a starting striker.
