Sounds like it's going to be completed today, pending a medical.

Looks like LVG has been proved right, transfers can happen in 24 hours.

Unlikely he will be registered for the City game, though.

Balotelli not being able to play in the City game takes out at-least 20% fun out of the transfer.

That pictures been around a few hours now. Supposed to be the Liverpool store, could literally be anyone, anywhere. It makes me want one, though!

thats **** no. for top striker. o well lol

Pretty sure that's been his number his whole career...

Balotelli, Sturridge, Lambert and rumours of Eto'o undergoing a medical as our fourth striker - good options IMO.

If we sign eto it looks Rodgers is gonna play with two upfront this year also.

Possibly two up top (Suarez system) against most sides with the options in midfield to change it for the bigger games, particularly in the Champions League

Lucas on loan to Napoli with a view to a permanent move seems to be doing the rounds the last 24 hours - only problem would be i think we would need a replacement unless Can will be used in the 'Gerrard role'

Always got allen that can play that role aswell. I know he probs isnt up the the standard against the bigger sides but against mid to low table teams he should be fine.

I always liked Lucas he played very well 2 years ago before he got injured. But I think is good time for both the club and player if he moves on.

I agree that we should get another dm (I have read about song from Barcelona) because I think Can is more an no 8 than a 6 but i might be wrong as we haven't seen much of him playing.

Shame he messed up his clearance. He has looked good other than that though

Shame that because apart from the mistake Moreno and Liverpool have been very good - completely in control of the game and the better side

Exactly the same as last season and the same result looks likely now as well
