Bit of a strange one isn't it they're all changing constantly. Allen sitting back now god have mercy on us.

Balotelli needs some support. I think that he doesn't connect very well with Coutinho, at least yet.

Edit: 2 of the Newcastle yellow cards were very close to red one's.

Agreed. Mario playing well on his own should do better now that BR has listened to what I said in my last post!
 
Deserve to be losing. Only thing worse than losing to Newcastle is listening to savage rambling on. I genuinely think id rather have Owen commentating
 
Oh well, performances have been poor but the rest of the league bar a few teams seem to be struggling as well...

We cant ignore the fact Tottenham, Everton and United are all below us as things stand and Arsenal are only 3 points ahead of us. Long way to go yet
 
So many teams uninspiring this season.. I said similar a few weeks ago, but we have been terrible and lie 7th, above three of our main rivals for fourth. Strange season

And to think Moyes actually did better than Van Gaal with a huge difference in spending

Long way to go in the season so I wouldn't compare Moyes and LVG just yet ... Agree that this is one strange season though, only Chelsea and Southampton have shown any consistency thus far. Many clubs are underperforming or yet to settle into the season
 
Ballague just said on SSN that hes heard they will be no Gerrard,Sterling,Johnson,Markovic,Sturridge in tonights squad.

Yes but we have Chelsea coming up and Real Madrid tonight. Potentially two big losses on the cards with the way we have played this season could kill any morale in the team. Especially after only getting 1 point from the last two games when we should be winning them in form Newcastle or not.

Or potentially a morale booster? A loss to both is expected so anything else is a bonus at the moment.. And even if we lose both, we will still have a chance of qualifying in the champions league and be 1-3 points at worst from most of our rivals
