dont think any footballer should be getting 100k a week, shows how football is another world compared to reality but thats another problem of its own. good we signed up henderson he is a much different player when he is not overshadowed playing next to stevie.

On the other hand, Liverpool shouldnt have been cheap last season. Timing is everything, could have signed him on for cheaper last season.

As Tony Barrett says: Liverpool have been trying to cheat a system (transfer market) that wont be cheated. And its coming back to haunt you.

It's easy to say it then to. You sign your deals when you're on the up. It's no coincidence that as United look like getting top 4, we are signing multiple long term extensions.

Liverpool already knew he wasnt too happy. when he signed on 35k, he had wanted 50k then. So the club had very early warning about an improved deal needing to happen

I do agree with you, Its poor from the club from that point but Sterling is being badly advised regardless

Oh he's certainly being advised badly, and it's also poor on his part to not do something about it. But Liverpool could have easily avoided it entirely. Something needs to give here.

I know what you're saying about Falcao, We always should have tried for Higuain last season, just seemed silly not too!
 
Lets hope the likes of Skrtel and Sterling are soon to follow suit - Long term contract for all of those and Coutinho will set us up nicely for the summer

id maybe refrain from offering skrtel a long term contract, his 30 now, maybe a 2 year deal or arsenals way of one year extensions when players enter their 30s.

Dutch journos confirmed this is BS. Pool are interested and have spoke to Depay. And he has also spoke to PSG,Bayern,Utd. Player will decide now. The PSV journo 90% he will join UTD.

I expect him to sign for United, but different dutch outlets are all reporting different things 'according to PSV sources'

Last night a newspaper claimed only Liverpool had been given permission and he has only spoke directly with them yet you have seen (I have aswell) that a host of clubs have spoke to him

Something a miss somewhere

I'm pretty positive no one knows **** outside his agent and Memphis.

thijsslegers @thijsslegers Voor de goede orde: ik schreef deze week dat Memphis in Engeland was en sprak met ManU. Ik schreef NIET dat hij in Manchester was.


For the record: I wrote this week that Memphis was in England and spoke with ManU. I did not write that he was in Manchester.
