Seems the transfer committee is to be disbanded and a Director of Football looked at instead... Apparently Rodgers job not currently at risk but that may change depending on the end of season review next week

Di Marzio has also reported we have sounded out Klopp and Benitez If they do want a change of manager

A bit of progress at least

I would be pleased if that happens. Either that or get Klopp in are the best options. This transfer committee just doesn't work.

Wasn't committee put in place specifically because Comolli ****** you over as DoF the last time?

DoF doesn't work so we'll make a comittee, comittee doesn't work so we'll have a DoF.

Seriously.

Commoli was the worse dof you could possibly have, if the right dof can be bought it it will work

Yes, its not the Director of Football that doesn't work, it was just simply that Comolli didnt do a very good job in that role

Anybody that pays 35million for Andy Carroll might as well kiss their career goodbye lol

It was a complete mixed bag but people remember the failures

Carroll, Downing, Adam, Coates but on the other hand Bellamy (free), Henderson, Suarez were the successes

Man United the latest club to show their interest in Raheem Sterling, then. Apparently it will take a bid of £50million for us to sell with Liverpool confident no side will pay that amount

Also being reported is the availability of Barcelona's Pedro for as little as 7million. It would be incredibly frustrating if we were not all over that!

How good would 50 million for sterling to be replaced by a 7 million man that has actually achieved titles, hope this happens but won't get my hopes up.

Sterling to united? nah ya alrite.

Tbf Pedro won titles playing with messi, xavi and iniesta not allen, markovic and sicknote.

Thats the question.

It's a lot easier to look good when those around you are genuine World Class... Although for 7million, it is more than worth the risk

Doubt you'll get Pedro. Chelsea have a strong interest in him. If he is really available for £7m then I expect Mourinho to have the deal done by the end of the week ... Under Emeleano, we have moved incredibly fast on transfers at times

I would say I am surprised but I am not... It would simply be another waste of a career. The lad's already spent the majority of his prime years on the bench

Not sure why he would spend the majority of his time on the bench ... He will get plenty of games at whichever EPL club he goes to

Because thats what happens at Chelsea.. You have such a good squad that players like Pedro will never get a consistent run in the side

Raheem Sterling's agent says the player will 'definitely not sign a new contract' at the club, even if they offer £900K per week and calls legend Jamie Carragher a '****'.

Raheem Sterling’s agent Aidy Ward confirms star wants to leave Liverpool: '£900,000-a-week would not keep him at Anfield' - Football - Sport - London Evening Standard

Wow. Talk about forcing a move.

Having read that article, it really does not surprise me one bit he is also the agent of Beharino! How awkward it must be for him begging us to buy one of his players while at the same time damning us over another!
