If you have Sky/cable may be worth having a look on LFC Tv schedule-may show the highlights or the whole match. Admittedly I don't know much about it, and I can't remember if it's free

I got sorted thanks anyway yea it's on at 12 on LFCTV then its on tomorrow again as well.

For me, selling Suarez isn't the issue here, who you sell him to is.

Agreed, wouldn't have a problem with him leaving, just not to any rival in the Premier League

I would rather receive less money and his go abroad than stay in the League

Longer time goes on, longer I think he'll stay to be honest. Not too many teams in for him. Arsenal, with a stubborn Wenger, and an English side. Real, but they're more interested in Bale it seems. Who else? Bayern? don't really need him.

It does seem its Arsenal now, or Real IF Bale doesn't happen...... dont begrudge him a move, he deserves to play for a top top side

But Arsenal are not a top top side, Real Madrid are.. Suarez should wait if the right move does not materialise this summer

Seriously? You'd rather he go for less abroad? I wouldn't. If Arsenal want to offer like £50m then they can have him, imo.

We could pretty much buy Eriksen, Diego Costa, & Papadopoulos with that money.

To be fair though, our net spend this year has been like £3m, so hopefully we should be bringing in some more players regardless of whether Suarez is sold.

Or you guys could just buy Fernando Torres back.

Very serious.. be foolish to strengthen the main side we need to finish above with one of the worlds best strikers

Of course, but he will just demand a transfer from their in two years time so why does it matter? I don't think there's any serious interest from other clubs, so selling him to Arsenal (at a premium) is a good option. £50m is a fair price.

It matters for the two years he is there... For me it would be unbelievably stupid to sell to a rival, especially the one team in the league we are probably aiming to finish above given they came 4th last season

Its not like we are selling an out of form striker to a side that are challenging for the league so it doesn't affect us as much like the Torres situation

we would be selling one of the better players in world football, to a direct rival.. just doesn't make sense

Arsenal are a team we're trying to replace in the top 4, it serves no purpose to strengthen them

Aannddyy, are you honestly saying £50m is worth you not getting into the CL for the forseeeable future? Because that is what selling Suarez to Arsenal would so.

I agree but it looks like the only option. I don't want him to go but the more I hear about him trying to force his way out the more I want him to go. Nobody else wants him apart from Arsenal.

I know it doesn't make sense, but is there really an alternative?

I don't want us to sell Suarez. I'm just saying that if we had to sell him, that is the price I'd want before we considered selling to Arsenal.

I would rather not sell.. would make a change for the club to be in control rather than a player

He would still play for us, even if he was unhappy about it... we should not be selling to competition, he signed a 5 year contract in January he can honor it a bit longer
Any new info on the Diego Costa front?

Deal imminent, expected to arrive in England later in the week according to most sources

Luis Suarez has a foot injury and ruled out of the match with Valerenga..

how convenient

I agree. I just feel that I'd rather the £50m than somebody who is taking the **** out of the club that have given them so much. I'm sure that if he wants to leave, we will sell him.

Diego Costa is a very good player, and hopefully will be a good replacement.. However:
