ah suarez ya gobshite
People have been pointing out for months what an utter gobshite he is. Perhaps there is a lesson here, blind defence of a player isnt the same thing as loyalty. He is/has and always be trouble
Only the foolish would say he wasn't... but he is a player of Liverpool, so the fans will stick up for him through thick and thin
That's the important thing here. Just because a player plays for your team doesn't mean you should just mindlessly follow and defend him. In this case, it was almost certainly going to come back to bite all the people who did.

to be fair though, I still think he was dealt with very harshly re; evra. he deserved his punishment on Ivanovic, etc, and he's an utter gobshite, but I still think that was harsh. but i'd rather not get into another evra debate
For your night's reading entertainment:
"Luis Suárez: Let me leave, Liverpool – just like you promised"
Depending on who you believe the clause in his contract says anything above 40m and hes gone. If you dont sell to Arsenal for their 40M and one pound then he will go to the premier league. Liverpool say anything above 40M and they start to negotiate. Seeing as Suarez has the full support of the PFA and is confident if he goes to the premier league the move will go through I believe Suarez.Just sell him already. I'm getting slightly tired of this Suarez affair. The longer we wait the harder it'll be to sign someone with the money we get for him. However I don't want him to go for "only" £40m and that's something Suarez has to get through his head. If Bale is worth £95m + we should get so much more then £40m... However with him being unhappy etc etc I'd be happy with £50m+ and I think that's more then fair for a player of his calibre.
He deserved what he got for Evra. It was Terry who got away likely not Suarez who got a harsh punishment. Add to the fact he said it more than 10 times.to be fair though, I still think he was dealt with very harshly re; evra. he deserved his punishment on Ivanovic, etc, and he's an utter gobshite, but I still think that was harsh. but i'd rather not get into another evra debate
