I would love if Arsenal lost in the qualifying round of the Champions League... Nothing against Arsenal, purely to see what Suarez would suddenly do

People have been pointing out for months what an utter gobshite he is. Perhaps there is a lesson here, blind defence of a player isnt the same thing as loyalty. He is/has and always will be trouble

I'd prefer to see him outside the Prem. Guy is a noob. Talented and gifted. But a complete and utter noob. I really hope Wenger ends his pursuit of this guy

Only the foolish would say he wasn't... but he is a player of Liverpool, so the fans will stick up for him through thick and thin

Its amazing how quickly they can turn as well though

That's the important thing here. Just because a player plays for your team doesn't mean you should just mindlessly follow and defend him. In this case, it was almost certainly going to come back to bite all the people who did.

Kinda depressed about seeing him in an Arsenal shirt though :/

Oh well, I suppose Wenger thinks the side needs some extra bite in attack.

to be fair though, I still think he was dealt with very harshly re; evra. he deserved his punishment on Ivanovic, etc, and he's an utter gobshite, but I still think that was harsh. but i'd rather not get into another evra debate

Literally.

I just want Suarez to move - or accept the fact Liverpool want a price that nobody is willing to pay

Meh, who gives a ****? Whether he was harshly treated or not he's still a ****, the Evra case is entirely moot right now. It's just that now the deluded section of Liverpool fans who still supported him because they claimed everyone was against poor defenceless ickle Luis have had it come back to bite them.

It's so beautiful...

Just sell him already. I'm getting slightly tired of this Suarez affair. The longer we wait the harder it'll be to sign someone with the money we get for him. However I don't want him to go for "only" £40m and that's something Suarez has to get through his head. If Bale is worth £95m + we should get so much more then £40m... However with him being unhappy etc etc I'd be happy with £50m+ and I think that's more then fair for a player of his calibre.

Depending on who you believe the clause in his contract says anything above 40m and hes gone. If you dont sell to Arsenal for their 40M and one pound then he will go to the premier league. Liverpool say anything above 40M and they start to negotiate. Seeing as Suarez has the full support of the PFA and is confident if he goes to the premier league the move will go through I believe Suarez.

He deserved what he got for Evra. It was Terry who got away likely not Suarez who got a harsh punishment. Add to the fact he said it more than 10 times.

I honestly thought I would never see the day when a top player would try this hard to force a move through to... Arsenal... of all places. How embarrassing. ):
