Konoplyanka: "Man United? I'd rather stay at Dnipro and play in the Champions League".

Love the lad already....

- If you have two options - move to Manchester United or stay in the river and play in the Champions League - that choose?
- Most likely, would have remained in the river . But let's not get ahead

Google translate of his interview. Clearly not what and how he said it.

Seem's pretty much the same to me... He would 'most likely' rather play for Dnipro in the Champions League than join United??

1. He would never say he would answer a hypothetical question saying he will leave the club (as the question is assumption that if ManUtd makes offer).
2. He said most likely, not a definite No. And followed up with "lets not get ahead of ourselves".

English is not my first language and even I can see lot of difference in 2 quotes posted. First one was definite No, second one was most likely I would stay rather than for sure I would stay and will turn them down.

Also this all from a hypothetical question and he will always say that he would stay as ManUtd haven't made offer.

I didn't realise you were that bothered by it

Misquoting happens on a daily basis, there's nothing new about it. It really doesn't matter anyway, what players say is often very different to what they do.

Seems we've offered 16m + Suso on loan for Sevilla's Alberto Moreno and Emre Can hold up is the players wage demands

Be pretty happy if these deal came off, especially Moreno, although i am a fan of Suso.

I'm also a big fan of Suso, but the loan would probably benefit us as it would give him a lot of game time, which he wouldn't really get here. He'd come back a better player.

Moreno in with Suso out on loan would be a great bit of business. One of the best LB talents coming in and Suso more than likely getting some solid game time.

Also Shaqiri apparently wants out of Bayern.

So Lambert for 9mil, expect to see Lallana being announced for 16mil or so soon.

Lambert for 9mil, Lallana for 20mil means Southampton have to pay less to Bournemouth

At least that's what i am thinking... Guessing Lambert will be that Andy Carroll plan b type of player

Journalists in Serbia says that Reds are moving for Lazar Markovic. Is that true?

Also just read...

Lambert 9m, Lovren 20m, Lallana 2m.... Ignore the individual prices, its the combined amount Southampton are interested in. Due to the 25% sell on clause to Bournemouth for Lallana on paper he would command a small fee but overall Saints would get the same money.

What I can't quite fathom in my head is that Liverpool are in the Champions League and of all strikers you are going for.... Rickie Lambert?

He's a proven striker. Though the price tag is too high imo. At worst would make a great super sub. I've always like him. I'd be concerned as a Southampton fan though with the impending exodus about to take place

Read my comment before yours.. it could explain it

But he is certainly an upgrade on Aspas and would be no more than a back-up striker. (Also gives us that 'plan b' we are lacking)
