I personally think we'll move on either way - it's nothing new and the heat falls on Suarez more than anything

I am expecting an appeal regardless from Suarez/Uruguay

Of course you'll 'move on' but that means pretty much nothing. Liverpool can 'move on' all they want but the fact remains they just lost their best player until November and hugely reduced his potential transfer fee if they were to sell him.

There is no-one as good as Suarez that Liverpool can realistically buy at the moment, but instead of a direct replacement we strengthen the team instead of one player

We'd all rather have Suarez, but its not a huge problem Liverpool wont solve

Spurs tried that last year.

It didn't work out.

Oh well, we'll have to rely on Sturridge, Sterling, Coutinho, and Sanchez until November....

Unless you don't get Sanchez - which in itself isn't unlikely - and then have to rely on a front three of Sturridge, Sterling and Coutinho, with the world class backup of Fabio Borini, Oussama Assaidi, Iago Aspas and... ****, I dunno, Suso? Jordon Ibe?

Obviously if Sanchez isn't acquired you'll go for someone else, but my point stands. The squad's still paper thin up front, and with 'Pool taking on Europe there's going to have to be huge investments to even hope to maintain the high levels of last season.

I'd say this just about covers the question whether he's still worth having even for 80 million.

The only sources that Sanchez at anywhere other than Arsenal at the min are the Liverpool Ehco and Phil Thompson.. :)

Phil Thompson who could be talking about global warming and still somehow bring Liverpool up in the convocation.

That also means we'll sign no-one this summer though...

Lambert and at least one more attacking midfielder/attacker will be brought in alongside them

Well its sorted by ratings so those are obviously subjective, but if you look at the hard stats he ***** on just about everybody. Especially the other forwards. Lewandowski and Ibra are next forwards on the list and they're not even in the same league in terms of offensive output.

There's lots of flaws to that ranking system though. Their number matrix is fuuuucked.

Do you reckon Suarez will come back hungrier than ever after this ban?

Meh, sure, but that doesn't mean any of them will perform. Look at Spurs; they invested in what was widely thought to be solid investments, and about 70% of them didn't work out. Like I said, big gambles and big uncertainties.

Heard that Suarez cant change teams while banned.

Edit: Checked and he CAN actually be tramsferred.

I do agree with that but i'm fairly confident no matter which way the situation turns out

Suarez's first match back for Liverpool could be in round four of the Capital One Cup, with matches due to take place in the week commencing 27 October.

Didn't realise he was banned from training as well... guess he'll take a good while to get back to match fitness even after the ban.

Official training but he'll probably hire his own personal training team and continue to practice just like before - just on his own
