your first point saying gerrard cost us the game, no he didn't his red certaintly didnt help but it was they way we set up and let united pressure us from the start, we couldnt even string more than 3 passes together. so your wrong there. your other point about our run this season, it only happened once he switched from playing his awful boring possesion nonsense for which we dont have the player for. are you completely forgetting for all the seasons his been in charge he always starts of the same with his useless "philosophy". you argue about klopp not only has he lost key players at key moments he has had all his good players picked off. you cant even compare klopp problems with rodgers, so your saying because we lost sturiddge that is the SOLE reason we were **** poor for the start of the season. sure. once again the reason we went on this run was because we switched to a high pressure football which suits the players we have. im sorry to say but he will most likely be gone in the summer because he has failed. on the the transfers, you say markovich will settle i am sure he will but ask your self did we need to spend 20 million on a player when we have a better player in his position with better potential called ibe. No. you argue that we got coutinho and sturiddge etc... as bargains, im sorry but 2 or 3 transfers out of more than 150 mill spent is absolute awful i dont care what anyone says, the careless buying off alberto, ilori etc... what about them. You say my paragraph is nonsense but i am just explaining things that have just happened, dont be fooled by last seasons run which wasnt even down to him entirely, you say we nearly one the league but nearly is why we have failed for 26 years, you think nearly got us 18 league titles.

You're not a real fan are you...

Last season I bet you had tissues, lube and everything in hand when we were about to win the league, it wasn't his fault we didn't win the league, it was his fault that we were so close though, believe me. We've failed for 26 years yes, but who has come closest? Brendan Rodgers has been the closest, do you ever think maybe we haven't got the squad for it?

Bla bla bla Rodgers signed flops, but were they last season? Not one was.

They've played ****, that's the players fault.

And you can't sugarcoat it, Gerrard stays on the pitch, we at least get a point v United. Games can be turned around at half time,

A Liverpool fan will know this...

cool. nice too see you can have discussion with others without name calling.

jheez, your acting like ive made this **** up lool. cool ill be a sheep like you...

What you're saying is partly true, no doubt about that. But the other half is unrealistic expectation

We're not the team we were, we don't have the financial capability to compete in all aspects and yet people still have completely ridiculous fantasy's because we once were great

I doubt there are many managers that can come in and work on getting second-rate players in the transfer market and making it a success (because the bigger sides get all the better players) and have to answer questions of/sell their best player almost every few years

we are the fifth best team in the Premier League at the moment and some people forget that

i didnt know you could see the future ****, who knows maybe we wodve smashed 4 past united. yes the new playes have played **** but the signings could have been avoided. what about him consistenly doing the same **** possesion football the start of every season, or have you forgotten that. i am not a lfc fan because i dont agree with your opinion. ok. your right about the lube though, i forgot the tissue however.

but would you not agree if we had any small chance of getting klopp you would go for it. he got dortmund to compete for 6 seasons winning back to back titles on a shoe string budget. i get rodgers is learning but he makes far too many mistakes. if we can get a director of football who will let rodgers deal with the coaching and football side, in which he is excellent in especially coaching then keep him.

It wouldn't even cross my mind... Rodgers got us the closest we've come to a league title in 26 years against the spending power of City, United and Chelsea so not a chance would I consider replacing him

thats your opinion, but when he does spend like those clubs youve mentioned in the summer, why does he buy dross.

"If you spend more than £100 million, you expect to be challenging for the league". rodgers words not mine.

There are so many reasons, in which i said on the previous page

We spent a lot of money, majority of that was trying to replace the best striker in world football whilst improving our weak squad. Where as those sides at the top of the league spend to improve their starting 11, not replace their best players

Not to mention, we don't have the financial power in terms of wages, or the pulling power in terms of success which is why we often fail to sign the top players

It is not as simple as signing the best players when you have another 5 or 6 better positioned teams fighting for that same player

He didn't help himself with that sentence, but i can only imagine he means net spend

In the last 11 seasons Bayern have won the League 6 times,

They're the best team in Germany, but theyve not always been as unbeatable as they are now!

Yes Dortmund have won it twice, but Bremen, Wolfsburg and Stuttgart have won it,

Klopp is a good manager, but not the genius people think he is.

Just to mention here that is not fair not to take into account benitez 2nd place in Torres first year.

I agree with the rest. The only reason rodgers should be sacked is only if he has a catastrophic. 5th place with 5/11 players new is not so bad. I am pretty sure next year will be way better if they focus on 1-2 good signings this summer.I agree with the rest you are saying. We try to replace Suarez(look what he did yersterday in paris to David Luiz) and also improve our team. which is not easy....

I agree - As things stand i think we are currently the 5th best team in the league... so in that aspect a 5th place finish and FA cup success (potentially) would be quite a good season... It's just because of last year expectations shot up again

We are not far away but losing Suarez set us back, and then with Sturridge being injured regularly we have basically lost our two best players from last season for this season

Klopp is a good manager, but not the genius people think he is.

Klopp is a genius just like Simeone is. To take the team struggling at 8-12th position to top of the table and one of the most fearsome team in europe is a brilliant achievement. Simeone took forever chokers in Atletico to la liga title and Europa league winners. For Real Madrid it was a 6 pointer against Atletico every season but Simeone just changed it and Madrid fear Atletico more than any team.

I rate Klopp, I think he is a very good manager but his most impressive achievement could taking Dortmund from 2nd place to near relegation in one season

Impressive that!

Dortmund are 6 points off 6th position and 6 points ahead of relegation placed team.
