Lot of stories going round Sturridge will miss the first few weeks of next season.
Out for 5 months apparently

FSG have done well, but its just unfortunate that England is so superior to most leagues in terms of financial depth
They havent done that well, your transfer policy is horrible, and more importantly they don't see that.
I agree with you completely. I meant done well in terms of financial stability...
On paper FSG have done exactly what they wanted to. Cut the wage bill, improve the revenue and increase the overall club value. But they have done terribly when it comes to making the club a success on the pitch
Agreed, as i've siad before they need to stop trying to cheat the system in the transfer market.
There's an old saying: "A camel is a horse designed by committee" that's exactly what your transfers look like.
Idk why it's all doom and gloom anyway, I mean in reality this season everyone knew that you were most likely going to finish 4th-5th. Obviously missing out on CL is a big deal but it's not entirely over yet, 3 games left and 4 points behind there is pressure still on United to finish the job.
But also about the Depay transfer, it was only ever going to go one way if LVG wanted him regardless of what other clubs were interested, so really Liverpool can't be blamed at all for this.
I'd say judge your transfer window at the end, your previous transfer dealings isn't the best but there is still hope you can pull off some good signings this summer to build from.
Over-expectation and living off past memories is the reason for many doubting just about everything possible
Depay was only an option as long as LVG and United didn't come in, we all knew that
It's not that on paper they are bad, they just dont fit, they all are geared to very different playing systems. Rodgers needs to decide how he wants to play now, and fast, before you sign any more mish mashes of players.

Rodgers says Liverpool's "other priorities" in other areas meant their interest in Memphis Depay went no further.

Also it shows ManUtd don't reply on selling players. They signed players for long term rather than to sell for profit.
