Well yeah, if you go back far enough you can say it started with Souness, and the lack of commercial game in the early 90s. H&G didn't really help either, but we did win CL + another final under them. FSG was supposed to be the O merciful saviour, but they haven't been. Apart from last season's Suarez FC, we've been utter **** since 2010. And I can't see us progressing under them either, unless Klopp miraculously wants the job and FSG miraculously actually hire him.

This. The problem is, that transfer strategy is there because they don't have the finances to compete with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, and the two Manchester teams.

Sure, they've improved us commercially and finally started a stadium expansion, but the truth is, I would've preferred a new stadium instead of expanding Anfield to the maximum. What happens in 10-15 years when we need a bigger stadium?

It doesn't at all... I believe they did similar at the Red Sox but this is a completely different sport and is quite clearly not working

That's the least of my worries tbh. Origi has exceptional raw talent, he just needs coaching and playing time. I remember how people were bashing De Gea at first, because he didn't have the physical presence to control his area. Now look at him.

Vidal has been linked to us as well... Dont mean it is happening (Certainly not in our case haha)

Kolo is not a bad player to have around. Experienced and still not a bad player considering he will be our 4th/5th CB option

They've tried a director of football, a transfer committee, but throughout it all they've tried their moneyball approach which has failed miserably. Brendan isn't completely to blame, but he has a lot of the fault at his door though.

Doesn't know how to organise a defence, too set on Premier League players, and tactically is pretty shocking.

Yesterday, we had seven midfielders on the pitch, and yet we got tore open in midfield by Nnonzi and Charlie ******* Adam.

He decided the best way to win was have Allen at left winger, Henderson at right wing. It's just ******* stupid.


And apparently his solution is Ings, Benteke, Neto, and Milner. That ain't a solution.

I agree on all, but those transfers would be decent business... Three of those players would be free transfers with Benteke the only purchase.
