@BBCSport Liverpool announce the signing of striker Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim in a £29m deal.

Thanks mate, was unaware of this :P

For what it's worth I dont think you messed on on Depay this season. You did mess up last season, went back this season, and I think you pulled out when PSG showed interest, who then lost out to us.

We sign a really good player and you're all still moaning about Rodgers, give it a ******* rest lads!

Next season is a new season, and if you're all going to give the players another chance, then give the manager one too.

If he doesn't do it next season he's going to get binned off anyway, but for now he's our manager and we need to stick by him.

I just had a text from a good friend and thought of you here. He jokingly asked .....

'Do yers think we ran Fermino by Klopp before his arrival in January?'

Haha to be fair I'm all for jokes, but it's the constant criticism Rodgers' get and they fact all the players have got away with it!

Rodgers has lost a lot of confidence form me but I'm going to back him until the day he walks out of the football club, or gets kicked out!

Our players got two managers out of a job (Benitez and Hodgson) by stopping playing for them and tried their hardest to do the same to a third last year. Completely agree it's MORE than about time they took a long, HARD look at themselves and accepted their responsibility in all this.

It's so strange though as up to the defeats to United and Arsenal we were right up there with people even suggesting 2nd was up for grabs.. Two defeats and suddenly the confidence was completely lost despite us picking up the most points in the country 3 months prior to that

I get being disappointed and it sometimes affects players, but the end to the season was so poor and the final game against Stoke an embarrassment

Lol. I swear that second hat-trick at home against Norwich is the best I've ever seen.

Had to laugh reading Gerrard today saying we got the tactics totally wrong against Chelsea.

No **** we did Sherlock! XD

Being a Uni student I dont get to go to as many games as I would like, but Norwich at Anfield was one of them... One of the best individual performance I'll probably see live. And it was quite a dull opening to the game!

Regarding the tactics, only a slip gave Chelsea any momentum... We were dominant throughout but just couldn't break through

Well at least the Ole' song can be sung even if Mario goes..

Roberto Firmino... Phillipe Coutinho.. Ole Ole, Ole Ole

We never had to break through. And Chelsea would of had to of come out the longer it went on as they needed the win.

3 games to go in our hands. Sighs. Still not nearly over that.

Yeah, when it comes to three goal salvos, never thought the exhilaration of Robbie's against Arsenal would be matched but the ridiculous quality of Suarez's goals the second half that night topped even that.

Knowing Mourinho, I couldn't ever see Chelsea coming out.. I have never seen a team time waste from the third minute onwards haha.

I dont think any Liverpool fans quite is

We didn't need the win. Mourinho has publicly conceded the league and decided to focus on CL. Hence, why we played our fringe players more like Demb ba

Yeah, Mourinho wanted to win that game BAD whatever he said or put out.

He's hated us ever since the 'ghost goal' and there was no way he didn't have Chelsea fired up before that game. He set you up to get the result. That win put you what, second? You didn't give up on the league last year whatever he said publicly.

Not buying that for a second from him.

Mourinho is a winner. No way will he have conceded the league with chelsea still having a chance to win it.
