I keep on trying to convince myself that he can't be as bad as last year and we can't possibly have missed so badly for £25 million.

I'm failing badly at that.

I wonder why Wisdom hasn't played a single minute the 4 games to press?

I'd be very disappointed if they loaned him (Wisdom) again after extending him.

He's 22 now. That'd be his third loan. He should be part of the first team squad now. Or if he's not good enough in their opinion, cut ties and move on.

Surprise bonus of the short trip to Morecambe on Sat'day. (L'pool XI.).

No real interest in that but it adds another new ground. I reckon I'm currently on 65 out of the current 92 League grounds. Which is frustratingly skewed with all the new grounds springing up and places like Chesterfield, Coventry, Shrewsbury and Oxford you've done ..... but now haven't as they've moved ground. Not to mention teams like Arsenal and City that have you having been to 2 stadiums, but only one now counting.

All told with European venues I'm over 3 figures in grounds I've seen L'pool play. Be pretty darn rich now if it wasn't for that darn football club. Sighs.

But then I wouldn't have the memory's money can't buy so I guess it evens out.

Digne reports seem to be getting stronger, anyone know much on this?

Still don't have a clue if the lads any decent

Have a read of this. By all reports, and from what I've seen of him playing for Paris, he's pretty good

Lucas Digne: Why Liverpool should pursue interest in PSG left-back this summer - This Is Anfield

Interesting read Patrick. Thank you.

On the one hand I'd be wary of someone that can't oust the mediocre Maxwell out of the side. (But that is possibly skewed somewhat by both the owners want for 'big' names and Blanc's very questionable team selections.). But on the other, I LOVED reading that he's a full back that can actually defend. And defend well by all accounts. Something we've badly lacked for WAY too long now.

Like yourself and JW I'm pretty much for anyone starting over Moreno. But like Jamie I honestly know next to nothing about him.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to see more additions before the deadline. Particularly if the season starts off in the same vein as the last. The money's certainly there with the Sterling sale above and beyond Benteke.

Digne has been bang average, and not better than Maxwell. Talented yes, but also not showing it. He's also not better than Moreno either... That's a very pro piece that doesn't quite reflect every thing. The fact is that his application has been poor and Maxwell has been justifably ahead of him, and it's not a case of experience over youth either.

Then again that would be a big red flag for me as Maxwell is the very definition of mediocre.

In other news the Reus rumours just refuse to go away .....

Dont get me wrong, he is really talented, if he can apply it. But then it's the same with Moreno, and your coaching of course.

Thing is with the Reus stuff, its all "ITKs" saying it, and not one reputable journo, something like this would have Barrett all over it, and you still have Madrid wanting him. I wouldn't give it the time of day right now.

Seems Andre Wisdom is heading to Norwich on loan with them paying a million just to loan him. At his age I would be expecting him to be challenging at LFC now (If good enough)

Did anyone see Jack Dunn's second goal for the U/21's? Don't know much about him, but it was a quality strike! The first one wasn't shabby either!

Very good strike.. Decent young player but cant imagine him being anything more than a Championship player

Yeah that's the thing, I haven't heard much of him and he certainly isn't spoken about like many of the other prospects we have. He's 20 already I think too. I know FM isn't always the best indicator but I don't think he's anything like potential Liverpool first team quality on it either

@msmith850 Loan deal for @andrewisdom47x tells me @LFC close to a deal for Lucas Digne.

Shame to see Wisdom go out on loan. They obviously don't rate him enough and that's fair. But we should just sell the lad if we have no plans for him. He's not 18-19 and I can't see him improving massively until he plays this level. I've liked what I've seen from him before, but I don't think he has what it takes and the experience he needs will not come from loans.

Especially where we live in a time where transfers are more frequent. I can see us buying another centre back before Wisdom get's a chance next season.

See how he does at Norwich. Last chance for him really as he's getting on.
